How to Catch Vaelet in Palworld (Location, Skills & Drops)

Vaelet is the most useful Ranch Pal in Palworld that most players never assign. It produces all six crop seeds — Tomato, Wheat, Potato, Carrot, Onion and Lettuce — which means one Ranch slot replaces every seed hunt in the game and feeds every plantation you will ever build. It is also the Ground drop-rate booster, adding +40~80% items from Ground Pals while it sits in your party. Two genuinely strong effects on one Pal. Here is where to find it.

Where to Find Vaelet

- Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 (forest) — Level 20 – 23. The earliest population.
- Ancient Ritual Site — the Alpha at Level 27.
- Sakurajima — Level 55 – 57.
- Pal Recruiter (Grass) — Level 15 – 25, at 1.3%. The rate drops sharply in every other biome, so the Grass recruiter is the only one worth checking.
Sanctuary No. 1 is the practical route, and it comes with the usual sanctuary caveats: Level 80 Drones patrol it, and hunting there gives you a wanted level. Fly in, take the Vaelet, and leave — do not treat it as a farming trip.
Bring Fire attackers. Grass is weak to Fire. At Level 20 – 27 an Ultra Sphere is comfortable.
The Level 27 Alpha at the Ancient Ritual Site is the alternative if you would rather have a fixed encounter than a sanctuary run, and it drops considerably more.
All Six Crop Seeds From One Slot

At a Ranch, Vaelet produces every crop seed in the game:
| Seed | Feeds |
|---|---|
| Wheat Seeds | Wheat Plantation → Mill → Flour → Cake |
| Tomato Seeds | Tomato Plantation |
| Potato Seeds | Potato Plantation |
| Carrot Seeds | Carrot Plantation |
| Onion Seeds | Onion Plantation |
| Lettuce Seeds | Lettuce Plantation |
Why this matters more than it sounds. Seeds are normally a scavenging problem — you get them from specific Pals at low percentages, from containers, and from merchants, and running out of one particular seed is a common reason a plantation sits unbuilt. Vaelet turns that into a passive supply from a single worker slot.
And it feeds the Cake chain indirectly. Cake needs Flour, Flour needs Wheat, and Wheat needs Wheat Seeds — so a Vaelet on a Ranch is quietly supporting your Breeding Farm alongside Chikipi, Mozzarina and Beegarde. A Ranch holds four workers — those four Pals are a complete Cake support crew.
A caution on its work spread. Vaelet has six suitabilities, four of them at Lv3, and Handiwork, Medicine Production and Transporting all outrank low-priority work. Like Beegarde, it will be pulled off the Ranch by a busy base. Give it somewhere with nothing else to do.
Purification of Gaia: The Ground Booster

Purification of Gaia grants +40~80% more items from defeated Ground Pals while Vaelet is in your party. It does not need to fight or be active — it just has to be on the roster.
Palworld has a drop-rate booster for all nine elements, each at the same +40~80%. Vaelet is the Ground one, which covers targets including Anubis, Moldron and the Terra variant family.
Anubis is the reason to care. It drops Bone at 3 – 5 (100%) — one of three materials in Palworld with no automated source — plus a guaranteed Large Pal Soul. Applying +40~80% to a farm you were going to run anyway is free value.
Two limits, stated plainly:
- It does not stack. One Vaelet is the entire bonus.
- It multiplies quantity, not drop chance. On Anubis's 3 – 5 Bone it is a real increase; on a flat 3% schematic roll it does nothing for the roll itself.
Its own drops:
| Drop | Quantity | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Low Grade Medical Supplies | 2 | 100% |
| Tomato Seeds | 1 | 50% |
| Onion Seeds | 1 | 50% |
As the Level 27 Alpha it drops considerably more:
| Drop | Quantity | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Ancient Civilization Parts | 4 – 5 | 100% |
| Precious Entrails | 4 – 5 | 100% |
| Handgun Schematic 4 | 1 | 3% |
At Level 80 it sits at HP 4,900 – 6,100, Attack 700 – 880, Defense 770 – 986 — a solid defensive line, though you are carrying it for the skill rather than fighting with it.
Condensing Multiplies Ranch Output
As with every Ranch producer, Vaelet's seed output scales with its Partner Skill level, and condensing raises that level — 4, 8, 12 and 24 duplicates take it from Lv1 to Lv5, and a Lv5 producer can yield several times what a Lv1 one does.
Be realistic about the cost, though. Vaelet is rarity 8 with sanctuary and Level 55+ spawns, so 48 duplicates is a serious project — unlike Chikipi or Lamball, where it is an afternoon. Breeding is the better route: Vaelet hatches from a Huge Verdant Egg at CombiRank 1,480, so once your Breeding Farm is running you can produce the duplicates rather than hunting them.
If you are choosing which Ranch Pal to condense first, condense the cheap ones. Vaelet earns its slot at one star.
How to Catch Vaelet
- Bring Fire attackers. Grass is weak to Fire.
- Go to Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 at Level 20 – 23 — the earliest route.
- Expect a wanted level for hunting in a sanctuary, and watch for Level 80 Drones. Fly in, take one, leave.
- Or take the Level 27 Alpha at the Ancient Ritual Site for a fixed encounter and better drops.
- Ultra Spheres are sufficient in the Level 20 – 27 range.
Practical tips
- All six crop seeds from one Ranch slot — the single best answer to a seed shortage.
- Wheat Seeds feed Flour, Flour feeds Cake — Vaelet supports breeding as much as the milk-and-egg crew does.
- Chikipi + Mozzarina + Beegarde + Vaelet is a complete four-slot Cake support Ranch.
- Six work suitabilities means a busy base will pull it off the Ranch. Isolate it.
- +40~80% items from Ground Pals in party — take it on Anubis runs for the Bone.
- Breed duplicates rather than hunting them — CombiRank 1,480 from a Huge Verdant Egg.
Running your own Palworld 1.0 server
Seed production is the most invisible kind of passive output — you only notice it when a plantation runs dry. On a dedicated Palworld 1.0 server your Ranch keeps producing all six seed types while you are offline, so your plantations stay planted and the Cake chain behind your Breeding Farm keeps moving. Full crossplay lets a group share one farming base, and one-click backups and automatic updates protect a supply chain that spans several buildings.
Conclusion
Vaelet is a Grass Pal found in Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 at Level 20 – 23, as the Level 27 Alpha at the Ancient Ritual Site, and on Sakurajima at Level 55 – 57. It is the most underused Ranch Pal in the game: it produces all six crop seeds — Tomato, Wheat, Potato, Carrot, Onion and Lettuce — from a single worker slot, which ends seed scarcity permanently and feeds the Flour → Cake → Breeding Farm chain from the other end. Its Purification of Gaia skill separately grants +40~80% more items from Ground Pals while in party, which is worth taking on any Anubis run for the Bone. Watch its six work suitabilities — a busy base will pull it off the Ranch — and breed the duplicates rather than hunting a rarity-8 Pal 48 times.
