How to Catch Mozzarina in Palworld (Location, Skills & Drops)

 

    Mozzarina produces Milk, and Milk is the ingredient that most often stops a player's Cake production — because unlike Flour and Red Berries, you cannot plant it. It comes from one Pal on a Ranch or it does not come at all. With 400 – 490 Attack at Level 80, the lowest figure documented anywhere in this series, Mozzarina is a pure production animal, and this guide treats it as one.

Where to Find Mozzarina

 

 

• Starter grass zone — the earliest population, available almost immediately.
• Green zone — Level 9 – 11.
• Blue zone — Level 10 – 11.
• Ravine Grotto — Level 14 – 19.
• Crescent Moon Shore Watchtower — Level 21, a fixed encounter.

 

    A Mega Sphere is more than enough. At rarity 2 with 90 base HP and 50 base Attack, Mozzarina puts up no meaningful fight at any level it appears.

 

    Catch several. As with the other Ranch producers, the duplicates matter more than the individual — see the condensing section below.

 

Milk, and Why It Bottlenecks Cake

 

 

    Milk Maker produces Milk at a Ranch. That is the whole function, and it is enough.

 

    Cake needs five ingredients:

    That right-hand column is the point. Two of the five ingredients scale with a plantation, which you can simply build more of. The other three scale only with Ranch Pals, and a Ranch holds four workers total. You cannot brute-force milk the way you can brute-force wheat.

 

    And Cake is the gate on breeding. The Breeding Farm unlocks cheaply at Technology Level 19 and then consumes Cake to operate. No Cake, no eggs, no inherited passives or work suitabilities — which is why an apparently unrelated cow ends up gating your entire roster strategy.

 

    Killing Mozzarina gives you 1 Milk at 100%, which is not a farm — it is a top-up. Mozzarina Meat at 2 – 3 (100%) is decent early food, but the Ranch is where this Pal earns its slot.

 

    Note that its Farming Lv2 is the second-best rating among the common Ranch producers, behind only the Lv3 – Lv4 tier. Farming suitability is what lets a Pal be assigned to a Ranch at all — the requirement is only Lv1, so Lv2 is comfortable.

 

Condensing Multiplies What It Produces

 

 

    Because you cannot add more Ranch slots the way you can add plantations, the only real lever on milk throughput is the quality of the Pal standing there — and that lever is condensing.

 

    A Ranch Pal's output scales with its Partner Skill level, and condensing raises it:

    48 duplicates takes a Pal from Lv1 to Lv5. The documented example is Mau at 10 Gold Coins on Lv1 versus 10 – 50 at Lv5 — up to a five-fold increase from the same Pal in the same building.

 

    This is the correct answer to "my Cake production is too slow." Building a second Ranch costs you four more worker slots against a cap equal to your base level. Condensing the Mozzarina you already have costs nothing but duplicates of a rarity-2 Pal that spawns in the starting zone — and duplicate level is irrelevant, so Level 9 fodder works exactly as well as Level 50.

 

    Do it in this order:

 

1. Fill all four Ranch slots — Chikipi, Mozzarina, Beegarde and one more.
2. Identify which of the three is actually short. For most players that is Milk or Honey, since Chikipi is so easy to stack.
3. Condense that one first.

 

How to Catch Mozzarina

 

1. Throw a Mega Sphere. It requires nothing more.
2. Check the starter grass zone first, or the Level 21 Crescent Moon Shore Watchtower for a fixed encounter.
3. Bring Fighting damage if you want it down fast — Neutral is weak to Dark — but it hardly matters here.
4. Catch duplicates while you pass through. They are condensing fodder.
