How to Catch Elphidran in Palworld (Location, Skills & Drops)

Elphidran is a flying mount that also boosts your Dark-Pal loot by 40~80% — and that combination is rare. Most drop boosters cost you a party slot and give nothing back; a handful are rideable; almost none fly. Elphidran does both, it is catchable from Level 15, and it has exactly one work suitability, which quietly makes it a more reliable base worker than most of the boosters covered here. Here is where to find it.

Where to Find Elphidran

- Grass zones — Level 15 – 25. The earliest population.
- Sanctuary forest — Level 20 – 23.
- Yellow zone — Level 25 – 28.
- Free Pal Alliance Tower entrance — Level 30, a fixed location.
- Astral Mountains Cavern — Level 42 – 45.
- The World Tree — Level 80.
Take the Level 15 – 25 grass population. The partner skill is identical at every level, and a flying mount available that early is a genuine quality-of-life upgrade well before you can craft anything comparable.
Bring Ice attackers. Dragon is weak to Ice — Univolt Cryst, Frostallion or any Cryst variant. Do not bring Dragon Pals. An Ultra Sphere is plenty at Level 15 – 30.
The Dark Booster, and a Flying Mount

Amicable Holy Dragon does two things:
- A flying mount with increased movement speed while airborne.
- +40~80% more items from defeated Dark Pals while in party.
The flying half is what separates it from the other boosters. Carrying a booster normally means giving up a party slot for a passive effect — Cryolinx rides but slowly at 900 sprint speed, Menasting does not ride at all. Elphidran gives you a flying mount for the same slot, so the bonus is effectively free.
What its element covers: Necromus, Shadowbeak, and the entire Noct variant family — including Celesdir Noct and Frostallion Noct. Dark is a well-populated element in the endgame, and Nitemary — the game's best soul booster — is itself Dark, so a Nitemary farm benefits from carrying Elphidran.
There is a second Dark booster, the Enchanted Sword, so this is not a monopoly the way Fenglope Lux is for Water.
Two limits: it does not stack, and it boosts quantity, not drop chance.
Drops & Stats

| Drop | Quantity | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| High Quality Pal Oil | 2 – 3 | 100% |
| Dragon Radiant Gem | 10 – 20 | 100% (Level 80, Awakened) |
| Full relic ladder | — | (Lv 80) |
2 – 3 High Quality Pal Oil guaranteed is the best per-kill figure documented in this series — Dumud and Woolipop both give 1. Since Pal Oil is normally a hunting material rather than an automated one, an Elphidran route is a genuine supply line.
And its single work suitability is a hidden strength. Lumbering Lv3 is unremarkable on its own — Celesdir Noct at Lv8 is the ceiling — but having only one job means the work priority order cannot pull it away. Compare Penking's five jobs, which guarantee it will do something other than what you assigned.
At Level 80: HP 5,300 – 6,620, Attack 580 – 724, Defense 590 – 752. The Attack is low — carry it, do not fight with it.
How to Catch Elphidran
- Bring Ice attackers. Dragon is weak to Ice.
- Do not bring Dragon Pals — you lose the matchup you came for.
- Take the Level 15 – 25 grass population, or the fixed Level 30 spawn at the Free Pal Alliance Tower entrance.
- Ultra Spheres are sufficient at those levels.
- Use the flying mount immediately — it arrives far earlier than most flight options.
Practical tips
- A flying mount that is also a drop booster — the party slot costs you nothing.
- +40~80% from Dark Pals, covering Necromus, Shadowbeak and every Noct variant.
- Nitemary is Dark, so carry Elphidran on soul-farming runs.
- 2 – 3 High Quality Pal Oil at 100% — the best per-kill rate documented here.
- One work suitability means nothing distracts it, unlike most boosters.
- The Enchanted Sword is the alternative Dark booster if you prefer.

Conclusion
Elphidran is a Dragon Pal found in grass zones from Level 15 – 25, at the Free Pal Alliance Tower entrance at Level 30, in the Astral Mountains Cavern at Level 42 – 45 and in the World Tree at Level 80. Its Amicable Holy Dragon skill is unusually generous: a flying mount with increased airborne speed and +40~80% more items from Dark Pals — so unlike most boosters, the party slot pays for itself. Its element covers Necromus, Shadowbeak and the whole Noct family, and since Nitemary is Dark, it belongs on soul-farming runs. It drops 2 – 3 High Quality Pal Oil at 100%, the best per-kill rate in this series, and the Level 80 Awakened version adds a Dragon Radiant Gem at 10 – 20. Its single work suitability means nothing can distract it — a quiet advantage over the five-job boosters. Bring Ice.
