The Best Farm Targets in Palworld 1.0: The Level 80 Rule

There is a pattern in Palworld 1.0 that almost no guide states plainly, and it changes where you should spend your farming time entirely: pre-1.0 Pals that have a Level 80 population in the World Tree get a completely different drop table — roughly ten times richer than their low-level versions, and ten times richer than anything the 1.0 roster offers. This guide lays out the rule, the eighteen confirmed Pals, and what each one is best for.
The Rule
Most Pals added in Palworld 1.0 drop Radiant Gems at 1 – 3 with a 50% chance and Decayed Ancient Relics at 1 – 10 with a 10% chance. Those are the figures across the whole new roster.
Now compare a legacy Pal at its Level 80 World Tree population:
| Drop | 1.0 roster (typical) | Legacy Pal at Lv 80 |
|---|---|---|
| Radiant Gem | 1 – 3 at 50% | 10 – 20 at 100% |
| Decayed Ancient Relic | 1 – 10 at 10% | 30 – 50 at 100% |
| Dormant Ancient Relic | 1 – 5 at 5% | 10 – 20 at 100% |
| Gorgeous Ancient Relic | 1 – 3 at 3.33% | 4 – 8 at 100% |
That is not a marginal improvement. It is an order of magnitude, and the top tiers become guaranteed rather than a coin flip.
The practical rule: before farming any material, check whether a pre-1.0 Pal of the right element has a Level 80 World Tree spawn. If it does, go there instead.
The Eighteen Confirmed Pals

| Pal | Element | Level 80 speciality |
|---|---|---|
| Mammorest | Grass / Ground | Grass Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Leather and HQ Pal Oil at 5 – 10 |
| Wumpo Botan | Grass | Grass Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Hardwood at 2 – 5 |
| Lyleen | Grass | Grass Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus HQ Recovery Meds and Beautiful Flower at 100% |
| Suzaku | Fire | Fire Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%) and 30 – 50 Decayed relics (100%) |
| Faleris | Fire | Fire Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Electric gems at Lv 70 |
| Orserk | Dragon / Electric | Dragon Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%) and 30 – 50 Decayed relics (100%) |
| Jormuntide | Dragon / Water | Dragon Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%) and the full relic ladder |
| Kingpaca | Neutral | Neutral Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Wool x5 at 100% |
| Azurobe | Water / Dragon | Water Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Cloth and Aquatic Pal Fluids |
| Reindrix | Ice | Ice Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Ice Organ at 2 – 3 |
| Univolt | Electric | Electric Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%) — the scarcest element |
| Astegon | Dragon / Dark | Dragon Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Plasteel at 100% |
| Broncherry | Grass | Grass Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Onion Seeds |
| Quivern | Dragon | Dragon Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus HQ Pal Oil at 3 |
| Chillet | Ice / Dragon | Ice Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Ice Organ at 2 – 3 |
| Ragnahawk | Fire | Fire Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Flame Organ at 5 – 7 |
| Mossanda | Grass | Grass Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%), plus Hardwood and Leather |
| Beakon | Electric | Electric Radiant Gem 10 – 20 (100%) — the scarcest element |
Eighteen confirmed, covering seven gem elements — Grass (5), Dragon (4), Fire (3), Ice (2), Electric (2), Neutral and Water. Only Ground and Dark still have no confirmed Level 80 source; for those, fall back on the 1.0 roster's 1 – 3 at 50% sources (Sekhmet, Tetroise and Wispaw for Ground; Celesdir Noct and Dualith Noct for Dark).
Note that Astegon is Dragon/Dark but drops a Dragon gem — a Pal's typing does not reliably predict which gem it gives, so check the specific drop table rather than assuming.
If a gem element is holding up an Awakening, the first thing to check is whether a legacy Pal of that element has a Level 80 World Tree spawn.
The Best Relic Farms

Suzaku, Orserk, Jormuntide, Kingpaca and Azurobe all share the best relic table in Palworld:
- 30 – 50 Decayed Ancient Relic at 100%
- 10 – 20 Dormant Ancient Relic at 100%
- 4 – 8 Gorgeous Ancient Relic at 100%
Why that matters so much: Ancient Relics yield Mythical Wood at a 100% rate across every tier — 1 – 3 per Decayed, 3 – 5 per Dormant, 5 – 7 per Gorgeous, up to 9 – 11 per Glistening. So a single kill can produce well over a hundred Mythical Wood once recycled.
That reframes two of Palworld's biggest projects:
- The Skillfruit Orchard (200 Mythical Wood, 500 Paldium Fragment, 150 Soralite) goes from a long grind to a couple of runs.
- The Ancient Sphere — Capture Power 64, the best in the game — costs only 3 Mythical Wood each, so relic farming effectively hands you unlimited top-tier spheres.
Relics also feed the Ancient Relic Recycler (Technology Level 74), which converts them plus World Tree Holy Water into Paloxite, ingots, gems, cores, implants, schematics and Skill Fruit.
Bring the Right Counter

These are Level 80 fights with real health pools — Mammorest carries 6,900 – 8,700 HP — so element matchup is not optional. Attacking into a weakness roughly doubles your damage, which halves your clear time and therefore doubles your yield per hour.
| Target | Element | Bring |
|---|---|---|
| Mammorest | Grass / Ground | Fire |
| Wumpo Botan | Grass | Fire |
| Lyleen | Grass | Fire |
| Suzaku | Fire | Water |
| Faleris | Fire | Water |
| Orserk | Dragon / Electric | Ice or Ground |
| Jormuntide | Dragon / Water | Ice or Electric |
| Kingpaca | Neutral | Dark |
| Azurobe | Water / Dragon | Ice or Electric |
| Reindrix | Ice | Fire |
| Univolt | Electric | Ground |
| Astegon | Dragon / Dark | Ice |
| Broncherry | Grass | Fire |
| Quivern | Dragon | Ice |
| Chillet | Ice / Dragon | Fire or Ice |
| Ragnahawk | Fire | Water |
| Mossanda | Grass | Fire |
| Beakon | Electric | Ground |
From Palworld 1.0's roster: Flaracle, Renjishi or Eidrolon Ignis for Fire; Panthalus, Shaolong or Ophydia for Water; Moldron Cryst covers both of Orserk's weaknesses in one Pal.
Two party additions worth carrying on any of these runs:
- Faleris itself — while in party, Ice Pals drop 40 – 80% more items. Useless against the Grass and Fire targets, but excellent when you rotate to Cryst variants.
- Tetroise Primo — raises weapon and armor durability by 80 – 100%, so a long farming circuit does not end in a repair trip.
Practical tips
- Always check for a Level 80 World Tree spawn before farming a material from a low-level Pal.
- Five Pals share the top relic table — Suzaku, Orserk, Jormuntide, Kingpaca and Azurobe. Pick whichever element you can counter.
- Azurobe converts your attacks to Water, which makes it the ideal mount for farming Suzaku and Faleris.
- Orserk is CombiRank 120 — the lowest documented anywhere. Breed one rather than fighting for it.
- Bring the counter element. A 2× multiplier doubles your yield per hour on these HP pools.
- Carry Tetroise Primo so durability does not cut the circuit short.
- Ride a type converter. Ragnahawk (Fire) covers the Grass and Ice targets — seven of the eighteen — and Univolt Cryst (Ice) covers the four Dragons.
- Ride Astegon on the way in. Its +1,100~3,300% ore damage and +150~300% ore yield turns the trip out to the World Tree into a mining run.
Running your own Palworld 1.0 server
These are repeatable circuits — fly a route, clear several Level 80 Pals, come home with relics and gems. That only works if the world is live when you have the time, and if your Ancient Relic Recycler is processing the haul while you are away. A dedicated Palworld 1.0 server does both: persistent spawns around the clock, production running offline, full crossplay so a group can split the route, and one-click backups so a big haul is never at risk.
Conclusion
The single most useful farming insight in Palworld 1.0 is that legacy Pals with Level 80 World Tree populations drop roughly ten times what anything else does — 10 – 20 Radiant Gems at 100% instead of 1 – 3 at 50%, and 30 – 50 Decayed relics at 100% instead of 1 – 10 at 10%. Seventeen are confirmed across seven gem elements: Mammorest, Wumpo Botan, Lyleen, Broncherry and Mossanda for Grass, Orserk, Jormuntide, Astegon and Quivern for Dragon, Suzaku, Faleris and Ragnahawk for Fire, Reindrix and Chillet for Ice, Kingpaca for Neutral, Azurobe for Water and Univolt and Beakon for Electric. Only Ground and Dark still lack a Level 80 source. Bring Fire against the Grass targets, Water against the Fire ones, Dark against Kingpaca, and Ice or Electric against the Dragons.
