Where to Farm Every Radiant Gem in Palworld 1.0

Radiant Gems are the fuel for Awakening, Palworld 1.0's endgame stat-boost system, and they are the bottleneck for every player who has hit the Level 80 cap. They are found in the World Tree — but they also appear in the drop tables of specific Pals, which means you can farm them on a repeatable Alpha loop instead of hoping to find them while exploring. This guide lists exactly which Pals drop which gem.

Radiant Gems Come in Nine Elements

The first thing to know is that Radiant Gems are element-specific. Across the 1.0 Pals' drop tables you will find Fire, Grass, Ice, Water, Dragon, Ground, Dark, Electric and Neutral Radiant Gems — one per element on the type chart.

The second thing, and the one that trips people up: a Pal's element does not reliably predict which gem it drops. Several Ice-typed Cryst variants — Beakon Cryst, Rayhound Cryst, Univolt Cryst — list a Water Radiant Gem in their drop tables, not an Ice one. Always check the specific Pal rather than assuming from its typing.

Every Radiant Gem and Who Drops It

Radiant Gem Drops from (1.0 Pals)
Fire Renjishi, Flaracle, Dupin, Petallia Ignis
Grass Silvance, Ophydia, Elgrove, Nitemary Botan
Neutral Solenne, Sibelyx Primo, Starryon Primo, Tetroise Primo
Ground Sekhmet, Tetroise, Wispaw
Dragon Aegidron, Eidrolon, Eidrolon Ignis
Ice Snugloo, Elgrove Cryst, Univolt Cryst
Water Skutlass Ignis, Beakon Cryst, Rayhound Cryst
Dark Celesdir Noct, Dualith Noct
Electric Solmora Lux, Snock Lux

Fire, Grass and Neutral are the easy ones — four documented sources each. Dark and Electric are the hardest, with only two known sources apiece, so if you are Awakening a Dark or Electric Pal, expect that to be your bottleneck.

Drop Rates: What to Expect Per Kill

Where drop chances are documented, Radiant Gems land at roughly 1–3 gems at a 50% chance on the relevant Pal. A few concrete examples from 1.0's drop tables:

  • Rayhound Cryst — Water Radiant Gem 1–3, 50% at Lv.70, alongside Ice Organ (1–2, 100%) and World Tree Holy Water (1–3, 50%).
  • Elgrove Cryst — Ice Radiant Gem 1–3, 50%, plus Leather (100%), Ice Organ (100%) and Horn (50%).
  • Ophydia — Grass Radiant Gem 1–3, 50%, and the full ladder of Ancient Relics.
  • Celesdir Noct — Dark Radiant Gem and World Tree Holy Water, both 50%.

At a coin-flip per kill for 1–3 gems, a fixed Alpha you can return to repeatedly is worth far more than random exploration. Plan around a loop, not a lucky find.

The Best Farming Targets

Pick targets that are fixed field bosses rather than random spawns, so you can farm them on a loop:

  • Renjishi (Fire) — the Level 78 Alpha "Scorching Ovation Renjishi" in the World Tree. Drops Fire Radiant Gem, Flame Organ, World Tree Holy Water and Ancient Relics. Bring a Water team.
  • Aegidron (Dragon) — Dragon Radiant Gems plus Thermal Cores and Giant Pal Souls, two of the most annoying materials to source. Counter with Ice.
  • Silvance (Grass) — Grass Radiant Gems, Giant Pal Soul and Ancient Civilization Core in one drop table. Counter with Fire.
  • Celesdir Noct (Dark) — one of only two Dark gem sources, plus Dark Fragment and Horn. Counter with Dragon.
  • Univolt Cryst (Ice) — Ice Radiant Gem, Ice Organ and World Tree Holy Water. Counter with Fire.
  • Tetroise Primo (Neutral) — Neutral Radiant Gem plus Emerald and Large Pal Soul. Counter with Dark.

Farm One Target, Collect Several Materials

Radiant Gem farming is efficient precisely because the same World Tree Pals carry the rest of the ancient economy. World Tree Holy Water appears in 25 of the new Pals' drop tables and Ancient Relics in 27 of them, so a gem loop restocks your crafting chain at the same time.

High-value overlaps worth targeting deliberately:

  • Aegidron — Dragon Gem + Thermal Core + Giant Pal Soul.
  • Silvance — Grass Gem + Giant Pal Soul + Ancient Civilization Core.
  • Ophydia — Grass Gem + High Quality Pal Oil + five different Ancient Relic types.
  • Tetroise Primo — Neutral Gem + Emerald + Large Pal Soul.

If you only have time for one loop, run Aegidron or Silvance. Both hand you a gem, a Soul and a rare core in the same drop.

Practical tips

  • Element advantage is how you kill high-level Alphas efficiently. Check the target's typing and bring its counter — a 2× multiplier roughly halves your clear time, which doubles your gems per hour.
  • Most of these Pals live in Level 76–80 World Tree zones. Bring endgame armor and biome-appropriate resistance gear or the environment will out-damage the boss.
  • Gem element does not follow Pal element. Verify the drop table for your specific target before committing to a farm route.
  • Dark and Electric gems have the fewest sources. If you are planning to Awaken a Dark or Electric Pal, start that farm early rather than saving it for last.
  • Alphas respawn, wild spawns do not reliably. Build your route around fixed field bosses.

Running your own Palworld 1.0 server

Radiant Gem farming is a repetition game, and repetition is exactly what a persistent world is good for. On a dedicated Palworld 1.0 server your Alpha routes stay available around the clock, several players can split the map and farm different gem elements in parallel through full crossplay, and one-click backups plus automatic updates mean a bad patch never costs you a stockpile you spent a weekend building.

Conclusion

Radiant Gems come in all nine elements, and the fastest way to get them is a repeatable Alpha loop rather than open-ended World Tree exploration. Aegidron and Silvance are the best all-round targets — each drops a gem, a Pal Soul and a rare ancient core together — while RenjishiCelesdir NoctUnivolt Cryst and Tetroise Primo cover the remaining elements. Watch out for the quirk that gem element does not always match Pal element, and start your Dark and Electric farms early, because those have the fewest sources in the game.
