The Scorned Wilderness Raid: Everything Confirmed, and the Stat Table Not to Trust

RuneScape: Dragonwilds gets its first raid on 15 September 2026, and it is the fight that ends Kuldra's Saga. Jagex have now confirmed enough about the Scorned Wilderness to plan around — including an entry requirement that will catch people out and a reward tier called Dragon equipment. There is also a stat table circulating for that gear which is not real, and this guide shows exactly why.
What Jagex Have Confirmed

| What it is | The first raid in RuneScape: Dragonwilds |
| When | 15 September 2026, alongside 1.0 |
| The boss | Dragon Queen Kuldra — the God-Eater |
| Also inside | Lesser and brutal dragons, and "the fury of black dragons" |
| The setting | A landscape "ripped apart by wild anima" |
| Traversal | Floating islands, crossed while Kuldra attacks you |
| Guest | Commander Zilyana appears in the zone |
The floating-island detail is the one that changes how you should prepare. This is not a boss arena you walk into — Jagex describe players traversing across floating islands "fighting through attacks by the God-Eater herself to reach her." That is a mobility and survival problem before it is a damage one, which puts Agility and its air-dash and double-jump perks squarely on the preparation list.
And "lesser and brutal dragons" means dragonfire. If the raid is dragon-dense throughout rather than only at the end, antifire coverage and a dragonfire shield stop being optional kit.
The Entry Requirement

To enter the zone, you must first complete Icthlarin's Little Helper. That is a hard gate, and it is worth acting on now rather than on launch day.
The practical consequence: a fresh character cannot walk into this raid. If your group plans to start a new world for 1.0 — which Jagex generally recommend for a major release — somebody still has to work through the quest chain before the raid opens. Doing that on your current world before the 15th does not help a new character, so decide early which world you are actually taking into 1.0.
On rewards, four families are confirmed:
- Rune equipment — the new progression tier arriving with 1.0
- Ancestral robes
- Black dragonhide armour
- Dragon weaponry
Dragon equipment specifically comes from the raid's rare drop table, and the wiki is explicit about what that means: "In order to acquire a full set of equipment, players must repeatably complete the raid." This is designed as repeatable endgame content, not a one-clear reward.
Dragon Equipment: Names Confirmed, Stats Not

Mod Doom's description sets the tone: "There is also going to be a selection of pieces of the iconic Dragon armour — glorious, resplendent and red, including the Dragon Scimitar and the Dragon Crossbow."
The full announced list:
| Category | Pieces |
|---|---|
| Armour | Dragon Helmet, Dragon Platebody, Dragon Platelegs |
| Shield | Dragon Shield |
| One-handed melee | Dragon Dagger, Dragon Mace, Dragon Sword, Dragon Scimitar |
| Two-handed melee | Dragon Warhammer, Dragon Greataxe, Dragon Greatsword |
| Ranged | Dragon Crossbow |
| Arrows | Dragon Arrow, Dragon Fire Arrow, Dragon Barbed Arrow, Poisoned Dragon Arrow |
| Bolts | Dragon Bolts, Enchanted Dragon Bolts |
Nineteen items, and the framing matters: this is positioned as endgame gear "similar to rune equipment." Not strictly above it — alongside it, from a different source. Rune comes from the new Runite progression; Dragon comes from the raid.
Note what is missing from that list. There is no Dragon staff, no Dragon battlestaff and no magic piece at all. On current information the raid's signature reward tier is melee and ranged only, which is worth knowing if you main magic.
The Stat Table Not to Trust
There is a Dragon equipment stat table circulating, and every number in it belongs to Adamant. We checked each value against the live Adamant items:
| Piece | "Dragon" figures being shared | Actual Adamant |
|---|---|---|
| Helmet | 1500 dur, 21 / 19 / 18 | 1500 dur, 21 / 19 / 18 |
| Platebody | 1500 dur, 53 / 47 / 45 | 1500 dur, 53 / 47 / 45 |
| Platelegs | 1500 dur, 32 / 28 / 27 | 1500 dur, 32 / 28 / 27 |
| Shield | 1600 dur, block 65 | 1600 dur, block 65 |
| Scimitar | 76–160 damage | 76–160 damage |
Every single one is an exact match. The Adamant Scimitar's own page lists basedmg = 76-160; the "Dragon Scimitar" entry lists 76–160. The armour trio matches Adamant to the point.
This is placeholder scaffolding, not leaked data. The page is flagged as future content, half its columns are empty or marked ?, and someone has clearly filled the structure using the current top tier as a template — which is normal wiki practice for an unreleased item and completely misleading if you read it as fact.
So: treat every Dragon equipment number you see before 15 September as unknown. The item names are confirmed by Jagex. The stats are not, and anyone publishing "Dragon Scimitar: 76–160" is republishing Adamant's numbers.
Practical tips
- 15 September 2026 — the Scorned Wilderness launches with 1.0.
- Finish Icthlarin's Little Helper first. It gates entry to the zone.
- Expect a traversal fight across floating islands, not a single arena.
- Dragon gear is on the rare drop table — a full set means running it repeatedly.
- Nineteen Dragon items announced, none of them magic.
- Ignore any Dragon stat table published before launch — the circulating one is Adamant's.
Running your own Dragonwilds server
A raid is group content on a schedule, and 1.0 lands on 15 September — the single most disruptive day a save ever goes through. On a gamever Dragonwilds server the world stays live between sessions so your group can clear the Icthlarin's Little Helper prerequisite whenever people are free rather than when a host is online, updates apply automatically so nobody is stuck on a mismatched version during launch week, and one-click backups mean the pre-1.0 world is recoverable if anything goes wrong.
Conclusion
The Scorned Wilderness is Dragonwilds' first raid, arriving 15 September 2026 with 1.0, and it ends Kuldra's Saga against the Dragon Queen herself amid lesser and brutal dragons on floating islands torn apart by wild anima, with Commander Zilyana present in the zone. Entry is gated behind Icthlarin's Little Helper, so a fresh 1.0 character cannot simply walk in. Rewards span rune equipment, ancestral robes, black dragonhide armour and dragon weaponry, with Dragon equipment on the rare drop table — nineteen announced pieces across armour, one- and two-handed melee, a crossbow, four arrows and two bolts, and nothing for magic. The one thing to disregard is the stat table: every figure currently attached to Dragon equipment is copied verbatim from Adamant, which we verified item by item. Names are confirmed; numbers are not.
