Life Fruit, Kinship Peach & Pal Reverser: Fix a Pal Instead of Re-Catching It

The received wisdom in Palworld is that a Pal is what it rolled. Wrong gender, bad IVs, weak passives, low trust — catch another one. That was true once, but 1.0 has a consumable for nearly every one of those problems, and most players never find them because they are scattered across the medicine tree, the Bounty Shop and the Arena. This guide collects them: what each item fixes, exactly how much it does, and when re-catching is still the right call.
The Fix List
| Problem | Item | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Low HP roll | Life Fruit | HP IV +10 |
| Low Attack roll | Power Fruit | Attack IV +10 |
| Low Defense roll | Stout Fruit | Defense IV +10 |
| Wrong gender | Pal Reverser | Changes gender (Pal Surgery Table) |
| Low trust | Kinship Peach | +20,000 trust |
| Bad passives | Implants | Applied at the Pal Surgery Table |
The Three Stat Fruits

All three share the same description formula — "Precious fruit that is extremely difficult to obtain. Slightly increases a Pal's [stat]." — and the same magnitude:
| Fruit | Raises |
|---|---|
| Life Fruit | HP IV +10 |
| Power Fruit | Attack IV +10 |
| Stout Fruit | Defense IV +10 |
This is the important part: IVs are otherwise fixed. A Pal's individual values are set when you catch or hatch it and never change — they are precisely the reason people re-catch the same species a dozen times. These three fruits are the only documented way to move that number after the fact.
Where they come from:
- Medal Shop, Bounty Shop and Arena Shop — all three sell them.
- Missions — "Medical Bills" gives 1, "A Sterile Flower" gives 3.
- Treasure maps and ancient relics, at varying rates.
Their gold value is listed at 10, which is not a typo and not a price — it reflects how little the game expects you to sell them for, not how easy they are to get. Treat the shops and missions as the real supply.
Practical reading: if you have a Pal you like that rolled badly in one stat, feeding fruit is strictly cheaper than re-catching and re-levelling, because a re-catch resets your condensing investment and your passive skills too.
Kinship Peach: Trust Without the Grind

Kinship Peach — "A rarely seen magical fruit. It is said that a Pal who eats it will open its heart to humans. Choose carefully which Pal you give it to."
The numbers are unusually clean:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Trust per peach | 20,000 |
| Trust cap | 200,000 |
| Peaches to cap from zero | 10 |
| Gold value | 30,000 |
Ten peaches take a Pal from nothing to maximum trust. That is a bounded, knowable cost — rare in Palworld, where most progression curves are open-ended.
Where they come from:
- The Bounty Shop.
- Farming them on four islands, at a 10% spawn rate per in-game day when you have built a base nearby.
- Hard-difficulty expeditions and enemy camps, at 100% drop rates.
- Mission rewards.
That 10%-per-day island spawn is the one worth setting up, because it is passive. Build near one and the peaches accumulate on their own — which is exactly the kind of thing that only pays off on a world that keeps running when you are not in it.
The in-game description's warning — "Choose carefully which Pal you give it to" — is fair. At 30,000 gold of value each and ten to a cap, this is not something to spread thinly.
When Re-Catching Is Still Right

Being honest about the limits matters more than the sales pitch.
Fruits move IVs by 10 at a time. That is meaningful but not transformative — a Pal that rolled badly across all three stats needs a lot of fruit, and fruit is not something you farm on demand. If a Pal is bad in every stat, catch another one.
Nothing here changes a Pal's species or element. If you need a Grass counter and you have a Fire Pal, no consumable helps. That is what the type chart and a type converter mount are for.
Condensing is still separate. Raising a Pal's star rank takes 4, 8, 12 and 24 duplicates for +5% through +20%, and no item substitutes. If you are chasing a maxed Pal, you are catching duplicates regardless — at which point you may as well keep the best-rolled one as your base.
Radiant Gem awakening is separate again, and is where most late Pal power actually comes from.
So the honest hierarchy is:
- Passives first — the largest single difference between two Pals of the same species, and now buyable at the Pal Surgery Table rather than rerolled.
- Condensing — reliable, expensive, unavoidable.
- Awakening with Radiant Gems.
- Stat fruits — a top-up for a Pal you have already committed to, not a strategy.
- Kinship Peach and Pal Reverser — problem-solvers, used once each.
The one change worth internalising is that gender is no longer a reason to throw a Pal away. A Pal Reverser at the Pal Surgery Table (Technology 38) fixes it, and it comes from the Bounty Shop, the Arena Shop and treasure boxes in enemy camps. Anyone who has bred a perfect Pal and got the wrong gender knows what that is worth.
Practical tips
- Life / Power / Stout Fruit each give +10 to an IV — the only way to move a value that is otherwise permanent.
- All three sell at the Medal, Bounty and Arena shops. Missions "Medical Bills" and "A Sterile Flower" give 1 and 3.
- Ten Kinship Peaches cap a Pal's trust — 20,000 each against a 200,000 ceiling.
- Build near one of the four Kinship Peach islands for a passive 10%-per-day spawn.
- Wrong gender is fixable now. Pal Reverser, at the Technology 38 Surgery Table.
- Fruit does not replace condensing or awakening — it tops up a Pal you already committed to.
- If a Pal rolled badly in every stat, catch another. Consumables are a top-up, not a rescue.
Running your own Palworld 1.0 server
Most of this list is bought with bounty tokens, Arena rewards and mission completions — repeatable content, all of it faster with a group. And the Kinship Peach island spawn is explicitly passive: a 10% chance per in-game day only accrues while the world is running. A gamever Palworld 1.0 server keeps those days ticking and those routes available whenever your group is, with full crossplay across platforms and one-click backups protecting a Pal you have invested fruit, peaches and 50,000-gold implants into.
Conclusion
Palworld 1.0 lets you fix most of what used to send you back out to re-catch. Life, Power and Stout Fruit each add +10 to a Pal's HP, Attack or Defense IV — a value that is otherwise locked at capture — and all three are sold at the Medal, Bounty and Arena shops. Kinship Peach grants 20,000 trust against a 200,000 cap, so ten of them max a Pal from zero, and they spawn passively on four islands at 10% per in-game day if you build nearby. Pal Reverser ends the wrong-gender problem at the Technology 38 Pal Surgery Table, where passive skills can also be implanted for gold. What none of it replaces is condensing, Radiant Gem awakening, or a Pal that simply rolled badly across the board — those still mean catching another one.
