How to make bronze in Valheim

Now that you have the Antler Pickaxe, you can begin mining for Copper and Tin in the Black Forest biome. These two ores are needed to make Bronze. Copper and Tin can be found in underground deposits and by mining rocks.

 

 

Create a Charcoal and Smelter

 

Once you have the Surtling Cores, you can craft a Charcoal Kiln and Smelter. In a Charcoal Kiln, you can process wood into charcoal. Both items costs 20 stone and 5 surtling cores.

Add charcoal and ore into the Smelter on both sides. Now ore will be produced into metal bars. This may take some time, so after loading resources into the smelter, you can do other chores. Also, we recommend you go to sleep to speed up the process by skipping the night.

 

 

Build Forge and craft bronze

To craft bronze you'll need to build the Forge in your house. Once you have the forge, you can start crafting items like weapons, armor, tools and bronze bars.

To build Forge, you need to have the following resources:

-10 wood

-4 stone

-6 copper

-4 coal
