How to get Kikit in Palworld

The desert sun burns overhead, casting long shadows over the rocky terrain of Sakurajima’s arid lands. The wind stirs up clouds of dust, and somewhere in the distance, a small round creature is rolling at full speed, kicking up a miniature sandstorm in its wake. That’s your target - Kikit, the oil-loving, tumbleweed of a Pal who’s both useful and full of personality. If you’ve been looking for this little rolling critter, you’re in the right place.

Where to find Kikit

If you want to catch a Kikit, you’ll need to brave the hot sands of Sakurajima Island. This Ground-type Pal loves dry, open spaces, making its home in both the North Rock and South Rock regions.

Spot Kikit rolling through the desert in Palworld

These locations are easy to spot on your map, and once you get there, keep an eye out for small, round creatures rolling around in the sand. Kikits don’t usually travel alone, so you’ll often find them in small groups. Unlike some aggressive Pals, they won’t attack on sight - instead, they’ll roll away from danger at impressive speeds. This means you’ll need to act quickly and be smart about your approach if you want to catch one.

How to catch Kikit

Don’t be fooled by their cute and harmless appearance - Kikit can be surprisingly tricky to capture. Their natural instinct when threatened is to curl into a ball and roll away, making them hard to hit with Pal Spheres.

Use a Grass-type Pal to weaken Kikit quickly

To increase your chances, bring along a Grass-type Pal, since Kikit is weak against their attacks. Using moves that slow or stun Kikit will make your life a lot easier, giving you the perfect window to throw a high-level Pal Sphere. If you’re struggling, try sneaking up on them. Approach from behind, crouching low so they don’t notice you, then launch a surprise attack before they have a chance to escape. Ultra or Giga Spheres work best for catching these fast movers.

How to breed Kikit

If you want to skip the chase and breed a Kikit instead, you’ll need to set up a Breeding Farm and pair two compatible Pals. Some of the best breeding combos to create a Kikit include Lovander and Foxparks Cryst, Hoocrates and Caprity Noct, or Lifmunk and Celesdir. Simply place your chosen Pals in the Breeding Farm, provide them with a Cake, and wait for the egg to appear. Kikit can also be hatched from Rocky Eggs, so if you come across one during your adventures, don’t forget to incubate it.

Kikit’s skills and abilities

Kikit may be small, but it has a few useful tricks up its sleeve. Its Partner Skill, Rollin’ Full Oil, reduces the weight of Crude Oil in your inventory, making it perfect for players who frequently gather this resource. In combat, Kikit isn’t the strongest fighter, but it does have a solid lineup of Ground-type moves that can hold their own against weaker enemies. Here’s a breakdown of Kikit’s key abilities:

Making the most of Kikit

While Kikit isn’t the strongest fighter, it shines as a resource collector. Its Mining Lv.1 work suitability allows it to help gather stones and minerals, though there are better Pals for heavy-duty mining. The real benefit comes from its Crude Oil handling, making it ideal for players who rely on oil-based crafting. If you want to keep a Kikit around your base, assign it to lighter work, and watch as it rolls around, doing its part in an adorable way.

Kikit may not be a fighter, but its Ground skills pack a punch

Kikit might not be the strongest or the fastest, but it’s a charming and useful Pal to have in your collection. So grab your best Pal Sphere, head out into the desert, and get ready to chase down one of the cutest escape artists in the game.
