How to Catch Kingpaca in Palworld (Location, Skills & Drops)

Kingpaca solves two completely separate problems. At Level 23 it drops five Wool at a 100% rate — which is the answer to the wool bottleneck that gates every good armor set in Palworld. And at Level 80 in the World Tree it drops 10 – 20 Neutral Radiant Gems plus the best relic table in the game. Same Pal, two very different reasons to hunt it.

Where to Find Kingpaca

- Small Settlement — the boss variant "Supreme Fluff Commander Kingpaca" at Level 23.
- The World Tree — Level 80.
The Level 23 version is the wool farm. Kingpaca drops 5 Wool at a 100% rate regardless of level, and drop quality does not scale — so a Level 23 boss you can kill in a few seconds gives exactly the same wool as the Level 80 version.
That matters because wool is the real bottleneck on Palworld's armor tree. High Quality Cloth costs 10 Wool + 1 Leather each, and it gates every armor set from Refined Metal through Hexolite. The Enhanced Lily's Spear alone wants 20 cloth — 200 Wool. Normally that is a Ranch throughput problem; a repeatable Level 23 boss dropping 5 at a time is a much faster answer.
The Level 80 version is the gem and relic farm:
| Drop | Quantity | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Neutral Radiant Gem | 10 – 20 | 100% |
| Decayed Ancient Relic | 30 – 50 | 100% |
| Dormant Ancient Relic | 10 – 20 | 100% |
| Gorgeous Ancient Relic | 4 – 8 | 100% |
Among Palworld 1.0's roster, Neutral Radiant Gems come from Solenne, Sibelyx Primo, Starryon Primo and Tetroise Primo at roughly 1 – 3 at 50%. Kingpaca gives ten times that, guaranteed.
How to Catch Kingpaca
- Bring Dark attackers. Kingpaca is Neutral, and Neutral takes extra damage from Dark. From Palworld 1.0's roster: Dandilord (Grass/Dark, 910 – 1,153 Attack), Celesdir Noct, Gildra or Solenne.
- Do not overkill the Level 23 boss. At that level a strong Dark attacker will delete it before you can throw. Chip it down or bring something weaker.
- Ultra Spheres are plenty at Level 23. Save Sol and Ancient Spheres for the Level 80 version.
- Wear the Ring of Mercy (Technology Level 18) if you want to catch rather than farm.
- Breeding is impractical — at CombiRank 2,220 it sits near the top of the range, so catching is much easier.
Skills & Stats

Kingpaca's partner skill, King of Muscles, makes it rideable and grants +5~14% Defense and Movement Speed for each Melpaca in your party.
That is a themed scaling skill in the same family as Shaolong's +4% Attack per Dragon and Moldron's +4–8% Attack per Fire or Ground Pal — but with a much narrower condition, since it counts Melpaca specifically rather than an element.
The upside: Melpaca is a common, low-level Pal that also drops Wool at a Ranch. So a party built around Kingpaca and several Melpaca is simultaneously a defensive mount build and a wool operation. That is a genuinely coherent early-to-mid-game setup, even if it will never be a damage build.
Its offensive kit tops out well:
- Holy Burst (700)
- Pal Blast (450)
- Rock Lance (400)
- Kingly Slam (200)

At Level 80:
- HP: 5,700 – 7,140
- Attack: 610 – 763
- Defense: 590 – 752
Modest across the board, and Gathering Lv2 is its only base job. Kingpaca is not a combat Pal or a base hire — it is a farm target and a mount, and it is very good at being both.
Practical tips
- Farm the Level 23 boss for Wool. Five per kill at 100%, and drop quality does not scale with level.
- That wool feeds High Quality Cloth (10 Wool each), which gates every good armor set.
- Farm the Level 80 population for Neutral Radiant Gem at 10 – 20 (100%) — ten times any 1.0 source.
- Its relic table matches Suzaku, Orserk and Jormuntide, the best in the game.
- Do not try to breed it. CombiRank 2,220 is near the top of the range.
Running your own Palworld 1.0 server
Wool is a throughput problem, and throughput is what a persistent world solves — your Ranch produces while you are offline, and a repeatable Level 23 boss is there whenever you have ten minutes. A dedicated Palworld 1.0 server keeps both running, lets a group split farming routes across platforms with full crossplay, and protects the stockpile with one-click backups and automatic updates.
Conclusion
Kingpaca is a Neutral Pal with two distinct uses. At Level 23 as "Supreme Fluff Commander Kingpaca" at the Small Settlement, it drops 5 Wool at a 100% rate — the fastest fix for the wool bottleneck behind High Quality Cloth and every armor set that needs it. At Level 80 in the World Tree it drops Neutral Radiant Gem at 10 – 20 (100%) plus 30 – 50 Decayed relics at 100%, matching the best farm tables in the game. Its partner skill scales Defense and Movement Speed with Melpaca in your party — which conveniently is also a wool Pal. Bring Dark attackers, and do not bother breeding it at CombiRank 2,220.
