How to Catch Chillet in Palworld (Location, Skills & Drops)

Chillet hero card showing the Ice/Dragon Pal Chillet, Paldeck #103, against an icy blue gradient.

Chillet converts your attacks to Dragon while you ride it — the only Pal documented here that does so. Dragon is the counter to Dark, which covers the Level 50 tower boss and the highest-Attack Pal in the game. It is catchable from Level 32, and its Level 80 population is a second confirmed source of Ice Radiant Gem at 10 – 20. A cheap Pal with an expensive effect.

Where to Find Chillet

Where-to-find card listing Chillet's spawn populations and Level 80 drop table.

  • Snow regionsLevel 32 – 36, the accessible population.
  • Astral Mountains CavernLevel 39 – 41 and 42 – 45.
  • The World TreeLevel 80.
  • Pal Recruiter — various locations.

Take the Level 32 – 36 snow population if you want the conversion skill. It is identical at every level, and the Leather (2 – 3) and Ice Organ (2 – 3) drops are 100% regardless — so a Level 32 Chillet is as good an organ farm as a Level 80 one.

The Level 80 population is the gem farm:

DropQuantityRate
Ice Radiant Gem10 – 20100%
Decayed Ancient Relic30 – 50100%
Dormant Ancient Relic10 – 20100%
Gorgeous Ancient Relic4 – 8100%

Chillet is the second confirmed Level 80 Ice gem source alongside Reindrix — useful, because until recently Ice was one of the elements with no Level 80 option at all.

The Fourth Type Converter

Chillet's partner skill changes your attack type to Dragon and adds 5~20% Attack while mounted.

Type conversion is one of Palworld's most practical mechanics, because it re-types whatever weapon you are already holding. There are four documented converters, and Chillet fills the last gap:

PalConverts toAttack bonus
ChilletDragon+5~20%
AzurobeWater+5~20%
Univolt CrystIce+5~20%
Prixter LuxElectric+30~50%

Dragon is the one that matters for the hardest fights. Dragon counters Dark, and Palworld's Dark targets are among the most demanding:

  • Victor & Shadowbeak — the Level 50 tower boss and the game's difficulty spike.
  • Bellanoir — the highest documented Attack ceiling at 1,000 – 1,270.
  • Celesdir Noct and Dualith Noct — the only 1.0 sources of Dark Radiant Gems.

Riding Chillet against any of those doubles your weapon damage regardless of what you brought, which is a large effect for a Pal you can catch at Level 32.

Note that Chillet is Ice/Dragon, so it is weak to Fire (Ice half) and Ice (Dragon half) — an unusual combination that makes it fragile against exactly the elements you would take to a snow region.

Its offensive kit covers both types:

  • Dragon Meteor (600) and Diamond Rain (600)
  • Dragon Breath and Crystal Breath (160)

Skills & Stats

Work and stats card listing Chillet's work suitability and Level 80 stat ranges.

    At Level 80:

  • HP: 4,500 – 5,580
  • Attack: 580 – 724
  • Defense: 530 – 674

Those are soft numbers — among the lowest documented in this knowledge base. Chillet is not a fighter; you are carrying it to re-type your own damage, and its own stats barely matter for that.

At base, Cooling Lv2 and Gathering Lv1 are minimal. Pierdon Cryst and Univolt Cryst at Cooling Lv6 both far outclass it.

At CombiRank 2,330, breeding is impractical — catch one instead.

How to Catch Chillet

  1. Bring Fire attackers. Chillet is Ice/Dragon, and Fire punishes the Ice half. Flaracle or Renjishi from the 1.0 roster.
  2. Ice also works against its Dragon half — unusual, and it means an Ice team is not wasted here.
  3. Take the Level 32 – 36 snow population. The conversion skill does not scale.
  4. Ultra Spheres are plenty at that level; save Sol and Ancient for the Level 80 gem farm.
  5. Do not overkill it. At 4,500 – 5,580 HP even at Level 80, the low-level version is fragile.

Practical tips

  • The only Dragon converter documented. Ride it against Shadowbeak, Bellanoir and the Noct variants.
  • Catch it at Level 32 – 36 in snow regions — the skill is identical at every level.
  • Its Ice Organ at 2 – 3 (100%) matches Reindrix as a cheap bulk organ farm.
  • Farm the Level 80 population for Ice Radiant Gem at 10 – 20 (100%), the second confirmed source.
  • Weak to both Fire and Ice — an awkward combination that makes it fragile in its own biome.

Running your own Palworld 1.0 server

Type converters are party utility you keep for the whole run, and the fights they enable — tower bosses, raid bosses, Level 80 farms — are group content. A dedicated Palworld 1.0 server keeps that progression persistent so nobody waits for a host, supports full crossplay so platform never blocks a friend, and protects the roster with one-click backups and automatic updates.

Conclusion

Chillet is an Ice/Dragon Pal found at Level 32 – 36 in snow regions, Level 39 – 45 in the Astral Mountains Cavern, and Level 80 in the World Tree. Its partner skill converts your attacks to Dragon with a 5~20% Attack boost — the only documented Dragon converter, and Dragon is the counter to Victor & Shadowbeak, Bellanoir and the Noct variants. Catch the Level 32 version since the skill does not scale, and return at Level 80 for Ice Radiant Gem at 10 – 20 per kill (100%). Bring Fire attackers, and note it is unusually weak to both Fire and Ice.
