Five Breeding Partner Skills in Palworld: Two of Them Make Alpha Eggs

A Palworld base with a breeding farm.

Five Palworld Pals have a Partner Skill that touches eggs — and they do not compete with each other, because each one works at a different stage. Two change what happens when you pick an egg up, one speeds up production at the farm, and one shortens incubation. The standout is Broncherry Aqua: roughly half of every wild egg you collect becomes an Alpha Pal Egg.

The Five Pals

Card listing Palworld's five breeding and egg partner skills.

PalEffectTechnology
Grintale #7050~75% chance of one extra egg on pickup19
Broncherry #10835~45% chance a picked-up egg becomes an Alpha Pal Egg33
Broncherry Aqua #108B45~55% chance of the same44
Braloha #110+20~50% egg production speed at the Breeding Farm36
Dynamoff #172−20~40% incubation time66

All five say (Does not stack), so a second copy of any one adds nothing — the familiar rule across every Partner Skill family.

Four of the five are rideable, which makes them cheaper in party slots than they look — Grintale, both Broncherries and Braloha can all be ridden, and Dynamoff is a flying mount.

Grintale at Technology 19 is the earliest and Dynamoff at 66 the latest, so this is not a set you assemble at once. It arrives across the whole progression.

Three Different Stages

Card showing the three stages of Palworld's egg loop.

The egg loop has three stages, and the five Pals divide neatly across them:

StagePalsWhere they must be
Picking an egg upGrintale, Broncherry, Broncherry AquaIn your party
Egg productionBralohaAt your base
IncubationDynamoffAt your base

That split is the useful finding. Because the three stages are separate effects rather than the same effect, you can run one of each simultaneously — a party Pal for pickup and two base Pals for production and hatching.

The pickup skills apply to wild eggs, which ties them to the 754 draw points on a three-hour cooldown. Run the circuit with a Broncherry in your party, not with it sitting at the base.

Braloha and Dynamoff must be at the base, working, for their effects to apply — the same condition as the work suitability +1 Pals. Carrying them in your party does nothing for the farm.

Which means the ideal setup is a party Pal and two workers, and swapping the party Pal depending on whether you are collecting or breeding.

The Alpha Egg Mechanic

Card explaining Palworld's Alpha Pal Egg mechanic.

Broncherry Aqua converts 45~55% of the eggs you pick up into Alpha Pal Eggs. At the top of that range it is more than half of every egg on your circuit.

That is the largest single effect in this group by a wide margin, and it applies to something you were already doing. A wild egg circuit run with a Broncherry Aqua in the party produces a fundamentally different haul from the same route run without one.

Compare the two Broncherries carefully before you commit. The base Broncherry gives 35~45% at Technology 33; Broncherry Aqua gives 45~55% at Technology 44. Eleven technology levels buy ten percentage points — worth it if you are farming eggs seriously, and not worth waiting for if you are not.

Grintale is the volume complement, and the two do not conflict conceptually even though only one can occupy a slot: Grintale gives 50~75% chance of an extra egg rather than a better one. More eggs against better eggs is the choice, and it is a real one.

Run Grintale while filling a roster and Broncherry Aqua while hunting Alphas. Since both are pickup effects and both say (Does not stack), you are picking one per circuit — so decide what the run is for before you set out.

Dynamoff at Technology 66 is the last piece, and −20~40% incubation is what turns a large haul into hatched Pals in reasonable time. It matters most exactly when the pickup Pals have been working, which is why it arrives so late.

Practical tips

  • Five egg-related Partner Skills, all (Does not stack).
  • Three separate stages — pickup, production, incubation — so one of each can run at once.
  • Grintale, Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua must be in your PARTY.
  • Braloha and Dynamoff must be assigned at the BASE.
  • Broncherry Aqua: 45~55% of picked-up eggs become Alpha Pal Eggs.
  • Eleven technology levels separate the two Broncherries for ten percentage points.
  • Grintale gives more eggs (50~75% extra); Broncherry gives better ones. Pick per circuit.
  • Four of the five are rideable, and Dynamoff is a flying mount.

Running your own Palworld 1.0 server

Egg circuits, farm production and incubation all run on the world's clock, which means they only advance on a world that keeps running. A gamever Palworld server does exactly that, with full crossplay, automatic updates and one-click backups.

Conclusion

Palworld has five Partner Skills that touch eggs, and they split across three separate stages rather than competing: Grintale (50~75% chance of an extra egg), Broncherry (35~45% Alpha chance) and Broncherry Aqua (45~55%) work when you pick an egg up and must be in your party; Braloha (+20~50% egg production) and Dynamoff (−20~40% incubation time) work at the base. Because the stages differ, you can run one of each at once. The standout is Broncherry Aqua, turning roughly half of every wild egg you collect into an Alpha Pal Egg — the largest effect in the group, applied to a circuit you were already running. The two Broncherries differ by ten percentage points across eleven technology levels, and the real choice on any given run is Grintale for more eggs against Broncherry for better ones, since both occupy the same party slot and neither stacks.
