How to Power Buildings with a Windmill in Soulmask
Building Your Windmill
To power your buildings, you need a windmill. You can build a windmill once you hit the Iron Age.

It’s going to cost some resources, but it's totally worth it. Build the windmill base first.

Then, construct and attach the windmill blade on top

Remember, if you need to move your windmill, dismantle the blade first to salvage materials. Otherwise, you risk destroying the blade.
Connecting Buildings to the Windmill
Your windmill has four spindles that can power up to four buildings. Let’s say you have a powered spinning wheel and a powered cutting machine. Here’s how you connect them:
1. Place the Powered Building: Position your building close to the windmill.
2. Use Power Extensions: These help organize your connections. Place an extension from the windmill to your building.
3. Run the Rope: Connect the spindle from the windmill to the extension and then to the building.

This method keeps your setup neat and allows you to easily manage your power distribution.
Optimizing Windmill Placement
Altitude can affect the power output of your windmill. Higher placements might give you more power, though this hasn’t been fully confirmed. Place your windmill on a square foundation block as it won’t snap onto triangular ones. Adding more buildings will split the power further. To avoid power shortages, either limit the number of connected buildings or build additional windmills.

Powering buildings with windmills in Soulmask is a game-changer. It lets you automate processes and makes your gameplay smoother. Follow these steps, and you'll have a powerful, efficient setup in no time. Keep experimenting with placements and connections, and enjoy your journey in the wild world of Soulmask!
