How to Get Iron in Soulmask

First things first, you need some essential tools and materials. Set up an Earth Kiln, a Grinder, and a Furnace at your base. These are your bread and butter for processing raw materials. Begin by turning wood into charcoal using the Earth Kiln. Once you’ve got enough charcoal, throw it into the Grinder to make Carbon Powder. This powder is crucial for smelting iron.

 

 

Dungeon Loot Retrieval

 

Early game? No problem. Head over to the Ancient Ruins Dungeon. Here’s the deal:

Find the Dungeon. This place is packed with mechanical enemies. Don't worry, they're not too tough, even if you're just starting out.

 

 

Fight Mechanical Enemies, they  drop metal chunks, metal parts, and metal plates. You can smelt all of these into iron.

 

 

While you're exploring, keep an eye out for chests. They often contain coal, which you’ll need for smelting.

 

 

Iron Ore Mining

 

Once you’ve got some gear, it’s time to mine iron ore directly:

Head to the Guardian Claw Tribe Iron Ore Mine. This mine is located in the northern part of the map, in the desert biome.

 

 

Use your bronze pickaxe to gather iron ore from the mining points. Pro tip: bring a couple of extra picks and maybe a mount to haul all that iron back.

 

 

You can also find Iron Ore Pits in the Volcanic area in the west part of the map. Just keep exploring Soulmask world after defeating the Fogfrog Boss.

 

 

Smelting Iron

 

Now that you've got your iron sources, it’s time to smelt:

Get Back to Base. Make sure you’ve got enough Carbon Powder and iron (ore, chunks, parts, or plates).

 

 

Fire Up the Furnace: Combine 1x Carbon Powder with 2x iron source in the Furnace. Voilà, you’ve got Iron Ingots!

 

 

When mining, always be ready for a fight. Bears and scorpions can pop out of nowhere.

In the desert mine, radiation is a thing. Bring some dissipation soup to keep it in check. Only a bronze pickaxe can mine iron. Anything less won’t cut it.
