How to Get Snow and Ice in Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier Update
Finding Your Way to Snowy Peaks
Head straight for the snowy summits around the Albaneve Summits, a perfect spot where snow and ice await. The easiest way is by gliding over from nearby elevated points. If you’ve got a solid glider, you’re all set to soar across with minimal effort. Just line up with those snowy mountains and take off. Don’t worry if you’re starting from ground level — a bit of climbing will get you there too.

Gathering Snow with a Pickaxe
Once you’ve reached the snowy terrain, all it takes is a few swings of your pickaxe. Snow layers are thick enough here that it’ll stick to you as you dig, even draining a bit of stamina if you’re jumping around.

Snow’s pretty much everywhere, so find a comfortable spot, smash into it, and gather up all you need. Currently, snow doesn’t have crafting applications in Enshrouded, so it’s mainly there for any on-the-spot needs or fun features in snowy surroundings.

Harvesting Ice from Icy Rivers
When it comes to ice, look around the same mountain range, especially near flowing icy rivers or waterfalls. Any patch of ice will do — just pick a chunk, strike with your pickaxe, and start collecting.

Ice is a bit slippery to handle, and it can make moving tricky, so stay steady as you gather. Ice will unlock the Ice Bolt Tier 2 recipe, so mining it can make sense.

In Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier Update, snow and ice are simple to gather once you know where to glide and mine. With minimal effort, you can reach snowy peaks, collect what you need, and continue your exploration. Whether it’s snow piling on your boots or ice slicking up your path, there’s plenty to grab and explore in the frozen mountains!
