How to Get Scarlet Ore in Core Keeper 1.0

 

Azeos' Wilderness

 

     Before you can even think about laying your hands on Scarlet Ore, you need to tackle a few challenges. First things first, you need to defeat the first three bosses in Core Keeper: Glurch the Abominous Mass, Ghorm the Devourer, and Malugaz the Corrupted Mother.

 

    

     After you’ve taken down these baddies, you need to activate the core. Doing this will open up new areas in the game, including the elusive Azeos' Wilderness biome. Go to the west from the Core until you reach the Great Wall. Interact with it to destroy this obstacle on your way.

 

    

 

Finding Scarlet Ore

 

     Alright, now that you’ve accessed the Azeos' Wilderness, it's time to get serious about finding that Scarlet Ore. This biome is a lush, verdant paradise with a twist—it's also filled with dangerous creatures and tricky terrain. Look out for sparkly spots embedded in the dense Grass Walls of this biome. These sparkling areas indicate where you can find the precious Scarlet Ore.

 

    

     You’ll need an iron pickaxe to mine it effectively. The ore is not just lying around; it’s tucked away in these tricky Grass Walls. If you’re lucky, you might also stumble upon Mold Covered Chests in the Mold Dungeon within this biome, which can contain Scarlet Ore as well.

 

 

Mining

 

     Once you’re in the thick of it, start mining the glowing spots in the Grass Walls. If you’ve managed to collect some Scarlet Ore, it’s time to head back to your base and start refining it. You’ll need to use a Smelter Kiln to turn your Scarlet Ore into Scarlet Bars. This process requires a Smelter Kiln, which you can craft using 5 Tin Bars and 5 Iron Bars at the Iron Workbench.

 

    

 

Crafting

 

     Now that you’ve got your Scarlet Bars, you can craft a whole bunch of awesome items and upgrades. Here’s a taste of what you can make: Scarlet Pickaxe, Scarlet Sword, Scarlet Helm, Scarlet Breastplate, Scarlet Pants, and even high-tech stuff like the Automation Table and Drill. The Scarlet Workbench is your go-to for crafting these items, so make sure you’ve got enough Scarlet Bars to make all the cool stuff you want.
