How to Get Draught of Vananidir in Valheim Bog Witch Update
The Draught of Vananidir is a powerful consumable item introduced in the Valheim Bog Witch Update. It dramatically reduces stamina consumption when swimming, making it essential for exploring oceans, lakes, and other water-filled environments. This guide will walk you through crafting this potion, including where to gather the ingredients and how to complete the fermentation process.

Gather the Ingredients for Draught of Vananidir
To create the Draught of Vananidir, you need to first craft the Mead Base: Vananidir, which requires specific materials. Here's what you need:
- Dandelion x10: Dandelions are found on the ground in the Meadows biome. They can be picked and will respawn in the same spot after 240 minutes.

- Perch x2: Perch are coastal fish found in the waters near the Meadows and Black Forest. You’ll need a fishing rod and basic fishing bait (purchased from Haldor, the trader) to catch them.

- Fresh Seaweed x1: This can be purchased from the Bog Witch for 75 coins (for 5 pieces). Her camp can be found in Swamp areas.

Craft the Mead Base: Vananidir
Once you've collected the necessary ingredients, head to your Mead Ketill (cauldron) to begin crafting the base:
1. Interact with your Mead Ketill and select the Mead Base: Vananidir recipe.
2. Add the 10 Dandelions, 2 Perch, and 1 Fresh Seaweed.
3. Craft the Mead Base: Vananidir.
Fermenting the Mead Base
After crafting the Mead Base: Vananidir, it needs to be placed in a fermenter to create the Draught of Vananidir:
1. Transfer the Mead Base: Vananidir to your fermenter.
2. Let it ferment for 2 in-game days.
3. After fermentation, you will receive 6 Draught of Vananidir.

Using the Draught of Vananidir
The Draught of Vananidir is incredibly useful when navigating Valheim’s watery environments. Drinking it reduces swimming stamina consumption by 80% for 5 minutes, allowing you to explore underwater or swim long distances with minimal stamina loss.

Keep a few of these draughts handy whenever you’re exploring large bodies of water or need to evade enemies by swimming.
