How to defeat Stavros the Carver in V Rising Oakveil Update
The air grows thick with corrosive mist as you step into the Carvers Logging Outpost where Stavros the Carver waits, blade glinting with Venom Sap and runes of corruption carved deep into oak stumps. You can almost taste the poison on your tongue and hear the whisper of twisted branches underfoot. This fight is a dance of risk and reward, but with the right setup and some quick reflexes you’ll carve through his defenses and reap powerful Tier 2 Spell Points, the Advanced Sawmill blueprint and deadly Weapon Coating recipes.

Preparation
Gather Corrupted Flower and Venom Sap to craft Blood, Chaos and Frost coatings at your Alchemy Table so each swing packs elemental punch. Unlock Void, Chaos Barrier and Rain of Chaos from the tier 2 spell point to bend space and rain down chaos on your foe. Build an Advanced Sawmill by your Purple Castle Teleporter for easy restocking of coatings mid‑fight. Don armor with poison resistance and bonus magic defense so you shrug off sap sprays and get in more hits.

Stavros the Carver was once a humble craftsman who now slaughters trees and flesh alike with gleeful cruelty in service of the Serpent Queen Megara. In the daylight his arena clouds swirl with toxic green vapors that grant him erratic speed buffs and sap bursts. Watch for the way he channels runic energy into his knife, then launches into a spinning swipe that can rip through armor and fling you across the battlefield if you’re too close.

Combat strategy
Rush in with Chaos Barrier up to block his opening slash and spin your coating‑primed blade into his side. Follow with Void to push him back and interrupt any corrupt channeling he’s starting. When you see sap geysers erupt from the ground dodge sideways and counter with Rain of Chaos at point‑blank range for maximum burst.

Swap to Blood Coating when he summons sap pools so you heal through Leech and pluck up Blood Orbs. Finish combos with Frost Coating to freeze him just long enough for another melee barrage.
Use environment
Use your Purple Castle Teleporter to slip out when low on coatings or health, then reappear behind cover to rest and rearm. Lead him under hanging branches so his wide swings clip wood and leave him staggered. Hide behind tall stumps to break line of sight when he douses the ground in sap, giving you time to recharge spells and potions before diving back in.

With coatings stocked, spells mastered and the logging outpost’s features on your side you’ll shred through Stavros’s defenses and claim all his hard‑earned rewards. Embrace the rush of Venom Sap in the air, learn his tells and carve your name into the annals of Oakveil Woodlands victorious.
