How to defeat Sir Erwin the Gallant Cavalier in V Rising Update

     The sun dips low over the dusty track as you spot Sir Erwin the Gallant Cavalier astride his mighty steed, lance gleaming and armor polished to a mirror sheen. He shouts a challenge that echoes across the farmlands and spurs you into action. This mounted duel demands quick thinking, nimble footwork and the right mix of ranged and melee tactics to unseat the gallant knight and claim Cyclone, Ball Lightning, Discharge and the prized Stable decor.

 

 

 

Preparation

 

     Gather blazing arrows and craft a few Stun Coatings to slow his mount mid‑charge. Unlock Cyclone to tear through his foot soldiers and Ball Lightning to punish his evasive maneuvers. Equip maces or axes for sneaking in heavy hits when he circles you, and carry a crossbow for long‑range shots as soon as he spawns inside the track.

 

 

     Sir Erwin fights from horseback, lancing forward in sweeping arcs that can clip your health bar before you react. He uses Discharge to send crackling bolts at range when you kite him, and he circles constantly to avoid melee counters.

 

 

     Watch his mount’s charge wind‑up and listen for the thunderous gallop; that moment is your cue to dodge or blast him with Ball Lightning.

 

 

Combat strategy

 

     Start by peppering him with crossbow bolts as he closes in to break his momentum. When he circles back use Cyclone to pull him off balance and knock him off his steed if timed right.

 

 

     Dodge his lance thrust by sidestepping at the last second then retaliate with a heavy mace swing or axe chop to his flank. If he channels Discharge roll through the crackle and close distance to interrupt with a melee combo.

 

 

 

Using terrain

 

     Use the outer fences of the Horse Racing Track to force him into tighter turns so he overshoots his own charge. Lead him onto the grassy infield where his mount slips slightly, giving you a split second for a crossbow headshot. Teleport in behind a broken fence post to catch him off guard after he ducks under your Cyclone.

 

 

     With ranged bolts ready, spells mastered and track features on your side you’ll unhorse Sir Erwin the Gallant Cavalier in style and unlock Cyclone, Ball Lightning, Discharge and those charming Stable decorations.
