How to Get a Horse in V Rising
In the vast world of Varadon in V Rising, traversing long distances can be arduous and time-consuming. However, fear not! With the aid of trusty horses, your travels can become swift and efficient.

Where to Find Horses
Horses roam the Dunley Farmlands, typically found near farm stables or tied to wagons in towns. Approach a stationary horse and hold the interact key to mount it. If you lose your horse, return to the Farmlands to find another.

Horse Stats
Horses come with three stats: Max Speed, Acceleration, and Rotation Speed. These stats affect the horse's performance and can be viewed in your inventory.

Basic Controls
Use the Gallop ability (depending on the hotkey in the slot, default ‘E’ key) to sprint forward.

Horses move faster than walking and allow you to attack while riding. You can perform basic attacks while mounted.

Press "Q" to bring up a reticle, aim, and press again or Left Click to dismount. Being attacked while mounted will knock you off.
Keeping Your Horse Alive
Horses need water to survive. Use filled Waterskins to keep them hydrated.

One filled Waterskin lasts about 7.5 hours. Refill them at any body of water.
With your newfound knowledge of horse riding in V Rising, you're ready to embark on thrilling adventures across Varadon. Master the art of mounted travel and explore the realm with speed and efficiency!
