Where to Find Sibelyx

 

 

• Aerial Cage: Snow — Level 25 – 30. The earliest population and the one to target.
• Astral Mountains Cavern — Level 38 – 45.
• Land of Absolute Zero — Level 43.
• Pal Recruiter (Forest / Volcano) — Level 30 – 35 at 1.25%; the rate falls in other biomes.

 

    Level 25 – 30 is remarkably early for what this Pal does. High Quality Cloth is a Technology Level 36 recipe, so a Sibelyx caught in the twenties is producing a material you cannot yet craft yourself.

 

    Bring Fire attackers — Ice is weak to Fire — and wear cold-resistance gear. An Ultra Sphere is comfortable at Level 25 – 30.

    A note on staffing. Sibelyx has three suitabilities, all Lv3 — Farming, Medicine Production and Cooling. A Ranch needs only Farming Lv1, so Lv3 is comfortable. But Medicine Production outranks Cooling in the work priority order, so on a base with a medicine bench it may drift. Give your cloth producer a quiet base.

 

    And condense it. Ranch output scales with Partner Skill level, and condensing raises that — 4, 8, 12 and 24 duplicates take a Pal from Lv1 to Lv5, multiplying production. On a producer this valuable, it is the best use of duplicates in the game.

    Silk Shroud attacks your target with Blizzard Spike, and gives Sibelyx a ×1.1 to ×2.5 damage multiplier when it uses that specific skill.

It is not a reason to build a team around Sibelyx, but it means an active Sibelyx is not merely decorative in an Ice matchup, which matters given how much Ice counters the Dragon-heavy 1.0 endgame.
