How to Catch Relaxaurus in Palworld
Relaxaurus is a lovable yet ferocious Water Dragon-type Pal in Palworld. From its powerful Partner Skill, Hungry Missile, to its ability to water crops and transport goods, Relaxaurus has something to offer every Pal Trainer.
Where to Find Relaxaurus
Relaxaurus of the low levels are spawned in two primary locations: Ascetic Falls and the Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon. These regions are located on the central wooded islands of Palworld, easily identifiable by their towering cliffs and dense greenery. To increase your chances, focus your search around the level 31 dungeon near the Sealed Realm. Relaxaurus often wanders alone or in pairs, making it relatively easy to spot thanks to its towering height and long neck.

Keep in mind that Relaxaurus is aggressive and will charge at you on sight. Ensure your team is ready for a potential ambush as you navigate the hilly terrain of Ascetic Falls.
However, if your character is already strong enough, you can try taking on the Relaxauruses found in the moors on the southern part of Sakurajima Island.

How to Catch Relaxaurus
Catching Relaxaurus requires some preparation. Since it’s a Water Dragon, it opens with water blasts and dragon-based attacks. To counter these, bring Grass-type Pals like Dinossum or Ice-types such as Chillet.

These will deal super-effective damage, allowing you to weaken Relaxaurus efficiently. Avoid using Fire or Dark-type Pals, as Relaxaurus has a significant advantage over them.

Once its health is low, use a Pal Sphere to capture it. While standard Pal Spheres can work, Mega Spheres are recommended to increase your capture rate. With Relaxaurus’ usual catch rate of 20–30%, patience is key.

Breeding Relaxaurus
If capturing Relaxaurus proves challenging, consider breeding one. Relaxaurus has a variety of potential breeding combinations, such as pairing Penking with Suzaku or Mossanda with Astegon. Place the breeding pair in a Breeding Farm and feed them Cake to produce a Huge Water Egg. With a bit of patience, you’ll hatch a new Relaxaurus ready for action.
Relaxaurus’ Skills and Abilities
Relaxaurus boasts an impressive arsenal of skills, starting with Dragon Cannon at level 1. As it levels up, it unlocks powerful abilities like Aqua Burst and Dragon Meteor, each tailored to deal with specific enemy types. Its Partner Skill, Hungry Missile, allows you to ride Relaxaurus and unleash a barrage of missiles, making it a versatile asset in battle.

Here’s a breakdown of its key skills:
- Dragon Cannon (Lv. 1): Fires a draconic energy ball.
- Aqua Gun (Lv. 7): Shoots a ball of water.
- Bubble Blast (Lv. 22): Releases slow-chasing bubbles.
- Dragon Meteor (Lv. 50): Calls down meteorites for devastating damage.
Using Relaxaurus for Base Work
In addition to combat, Relaxaurus excels in base tasks. Its Watering Level 2 ability allows it to hydrate crops efficiently, while its Transporting Level 1 skill is handy for moving resources. Though not the fastest worker, its versatility makes it an excellent addition to any base setup.

Relaxaurus may look laid-back, but it’s a powerhouse of potential in Palworld. By mastering its capture, breeding, and abilities, you’ll gain a loyal companion capable of adapting to any challenge.
