How to Catch Prixter in Palworld (Location, Skills & Drops)

Prixter hero card showing the Dark and Ground Pal Prixter, Paldeck #141, against a purple gradient.

Prixter increases the damage you and your Pals deal to Poisoned enemies by 50~65% — and that number only matters if you know what applies the Poison. Palworld's status system works in matched pairs: one Pal inflicts a condition, another exploits it. Prixter is the exploit half of a pair most players never assemble, because its partner — Dandilord — is usually caught for entirely different reasons. Here is where to find it and how to build the combo.

Where to Find Prixter

Where-to-find card listing Prixter's spawn zones across the Palpagos Islands and Sakurajima.

  • Palpagos Islands — from Level 21 upward across multiple zones, both day and night.
  • Sakurajima incidents — Level 45 – 48.
  • Sakurajima raids — Level 21 – 80.
  • Pal Recruiters — Level 40 – 70, at low percentages.

Prixter is unusually easy to obtain for what it does. A Level 21 population on the base map means the Poison combo is available long before the endgame, and there is no reason to fight a higher-level one — the partner skill is identical at every level.

Bring Dragon or Grass attackers. Prixter is Dark / Ground, so it is weak to Dragon (which beats Dark) and to Grass (which beats Ground). Being dual-typed means you can attack it through either half.

Do not confuse it with Prixter Lux, the Electric variant added in Palworld 1.0. That is a completely different Pal — Electric / Ground, with 790 – 997 Attack and a skill that converts your attack type to Electric for +30~50%. The Poison amplifier belongs to base Prixter only.

The Third Status Pair

Card showing Palworld's three status pairs, with Dandilord applying Poison and Prixter amplifying it.

Palworld's status system is built out of matched pairs rather than a flat list of debuffs. Two are well known:

Applies itExploits itEffect
Renjishi — BurnFlaracleBurn detonates for 40% of your attack damage to everything nearby
Ophydia — SoakElgrove CrystSoaked enemies are frozen in one strike
Dandilord — PoisonPrixter+50~65% damage to Poisoned enemies

The third row is the one nobody assembles. Dandilord is caught for its 910 – 1,153 Attack, for Planting Lv8 — the best in the game — and above all for the party immunity to Poison that makes its own toxic World Tree region survivable. Its Mist Stalwart skill also inflicts Poison (2~6) on your attacks, and most players treat that as incidental.

Put Prixter in the same party and it stops being incidental. Dandilord poisons, Prixter multiplies the damage against poisoned targets by 50~65% — and crucially, the bonus applies to the player as well as to your Pals, so your own weapon damage rises too.

One thing to remember: Dandilord's Poison is an activated skill, not a passive one, unlike Renjishi's Burn or Ophydia's Soak. You have to trigger it. A Prixter sitting in a party where nobody ever presses the button does nothing at all.

And note the pleasant overlap: Dandilord grants the party immunity to Poison at the same time. So the combo poisons everything around you while making your own side immune to the toxic gas blanketing the World Tree region — one party covering offence and traversal at once.

Work, Drops & Stats

Work and drops card showing Prixter's Venom Gland drop and Level 80 stats.

At base Prixter covers three jobs, none of them deep:

  • Lumbering Lv4 — its best rating, and mid-table on a scale that runs to Lv8.
  • Gathering Lv2 and Medicine Production Lv2 — low.

Do not station it. Its value is the party slot. Celesdir Noct at Lumbering Lv8 is the worker you want on trees.

    Its drops:

DropQuantityRate
Venom Gland4 – 5100%

    As an Alpha it adds Ancient Civilization Parts (2 – 3, 100%) and Precious Claw (2 – 3, 100%).

Venom Gland at 4 – 5 guaranteed is respectable but not the best — Menasting drops 5 – 10 at 100%, roughly double, and Shroomer Noct gives 4 – 8. If you specifically need glands in bulk, go to Menasting; if you are catching Prixter anyway, the glands are a bonus.

    At Level 80:

  • HP: 4,500 – 5,580
  • Attack: 760 – 958
  • Defense: 590 – 752

That Attack is genuinely good — better than several Pals people take into the endgame — while the Defense of 590 – 752 is the soft spot. Prixter is not rideable, so it fights on the ground beside you or sits in the party for the buff.

How to Catch Prixter

  1. Bring Dragon or Grass attackers. Dark folds to Dragon, Ground folds to Grass — a mixed party covers both halves.
  2. Do not bring Neutral or Electric Pals. Dark beats Neutral, Ground beats Electric.
  3. Take the Level 21 Palpagos population — the earliest and simplest.
  4. Ultra or Legendary Spheres are plenty at that level.
  5. Catch a Dandilord too, or the partner skill has nothing to work with.

Practical tips

  • Prixter is worthless alone. Its whole value is +50~65% damage against Poison, and something has to apply the Poison.
  • Dandilord is the partner — and its Poison is an activated skill you must trigger.
  • The bonus covers the player as well as your Pals, so your own weapon damage rises too.
  • Prixter Lux is a different Pal — Electric, and it converts your damage rather than amplifying Poison.
  • Menasting drops roughly double the Venom Gland if that is what you actually came for.
  • Do not put it on a Logging Site. Lv4 is mid-table; Celesdir Noct is Lv8.

Running your own Palworld 1.0 server

A status combo is only worth assembling if you play often enough to build the party around it — and that is far easier when the world is available whenever you are. On a dedicated Palworld 1.0 server the Palpagos and Sakurajima routes stay live around the clock, so catching the second half of a pair is a short session rather than a project. Full crossplay lets a group share the party, and one-click backups and automatic updates protect a roster built around specific synergies.

Conclusion

Prixter is a Dark / Ground Pal found across the Palpagos Islands from Level 21, in Sakurajima incidents at Level 45 – 48 and in Sakurajima raids. Its Phantom Venom skill increases the damage you and your Pals deal to Poisoned enemies by 50~65% — which makes it the exploit half of Palworld's third status pair, alongside Renjishi and Flaracle for Burn and Ophydia and Elgrove Cryst for Soak. Its partner is Dandilord, whose Mist Stalwart applies Poison and simultaneously grants the party immunity to Poison — remembering that it is an activated skill you have to trigger. It drops Venom Gland at 4 – 5 (100%), though Menasting gives roughly double. Bring Dragon or Grass, and do not mistake it for Prixter Lux.
