    Beakon is a flying mount that converts your attacks to Electric — the only flying converter that gives you Electric, which makes it the practical choice for hunting Water targets across a map you have to cross to reach. It is catchable from Level 30, and its Level 80 population is a second source of the scarce Electric Radiant Gem at 10 – 20 per kill.

    Catch the Level 30 – 34 version for the conversion skill — it is identical at every level, as is the Electric Organ drop of 1 – 2 at 100%.

    That makes Beakon the second confirmed Level 80 Electric gem source alongside Univolt. Electric is the scarcest gem element in the game — among Palworld 1.0's roster only Solmora Lux and Snock Lux drop it at all, at 1 – 3 with a 50% chance, and Snock Lux is dungeon-only.

 

    Do not confuse it with Beakon Cryst, the Ice variant added in Palworld 1.0, which is a different Pal with a different skill and drops a Water Radiant Gem.

 

The Only Flying Converter

 

 

    Beakon's Thunderous skill makes it a flying mount that changes your attack type to Electric with a 5~20% Attack boost.

 

    Palworld has twenty-four type converters. Eight of them fly, but Beakon is the only flying converter that gives you Electric — Helzephyr Lux also converts to Electric and flies, but it is a Level 80 catch, where Beakon is available from Level 30. Note also that the +5~20% figure is a ladder, not a roll: it is set by partner skill level, so a four-star Beakon gives +20% rather than +5%.

    Beakon and Prixter Lux both convert to Electric, and the trade-off is clear: Prixter Lux gives roughly double the Attack bonus, while Beakon gives you flight. If you are standing still and fighting, take Prixter Lux. If you are crossing the map to a Water target — and Palworld's best Water farms are scattered — Beakon does both jobs at once.

 

    Electric counters Water, which covers Azurobe at Level 80 (the only Water Radiant Gem source at 10 – 20), Jormuntide and the Water half of several dual-typed Pals.

    That Attack is genuinely good — it matches Sekhmet, Solenne and Whalaska among the Pals documented here. The Defense of 530 – 674 is the weakness; Beakon hits well and folds quickly.

 

    At base it covers three jobs: Transporting Lv5, Generating Electricity Lv4 and Gathering Lv2. That Electricity rating sits between Grizzbolt's Lv5 and Univolt's Lv3, and well behind Orserk's Lv8 — so it is a serviceable generator, not a great one.

 

    It hatches from a Large Electric Egg at CombiRank 1,690, which makes catching easier than breeding.

 

How to Catch Beakon

 

1. Bring Ground attackers. Electric is weak to Ground. Aegidron (850 – 1,075 Attack), Sekhmet or Moldron from the roster.
2. Do not bring Water Pals. Electric beats Water.
3. Carry Bulldosu if the Electric damage is a problem — party immunity to Electrify and 15% less Electric damage.
4. Take the Level 30 – 34 orange-zone population, or the Level 37 Tribe Boss for a fixed encounter.
5. Sol or Ancient Spheres at Level 80; Ultra is plenty at Level 30 – 37.

 

Practical tips

• The only early flying Electric converter. Take it when you have to travel to a Water target.
• Prixter Lux gives +30~50% to Beakon's +5~20% — better if you do not need flight.
• Farm the Level 80 population for Electric Radiant Gem at 10 – 20 (100%), the scarcest element.
• Not the same as Beakon Cryst — that is a 1.0 Ice variant dropping a Water gem.
• Bring Ground attackers; its Defense of 530 – 674 means it dies fast to the right counter.
