How to build a Nuclear Power Plant in Satisfactory Release 1.0
Welcome to the world of nuclear power in Satisfactory! If you’re looking to supercharge your factory with a top-tier nuclear power setup, you’re in the right place.

Selecting the Right Spot
Choosing the right location is key. Aim for a spacious, flat area close to water and uranium nodes. Having these resources nearby will make the building process smoother. Ensure there’s enough room for all the components and infrastructure you’ll need. A well-chosen spot will save you from potential issues down the line.

Start by laying out your Nuclear Power Plants. Position them about five foundations apart to give yourself room to manage water and waste. Make sure the outputs are directed towards a central recycling area and run water pipes above the plants. This setup will help you maintain organization and avoid any clutter in your power plant layout.
Setting Up Water Extraction
You’ll need a total of 1800 water per minute to keep your nuclear power plants running. Place six Water Extractors, each overclocked to 250%, to provide 300 water per plant. Instead of using Mk2 pipes, go with six separate Mk1 pipes. This approach avoids water balancing problems and ensures each plant gets its required water. Position the pipes strategically to feed water directly into the plants and add pumps if necessary to keep the flow steady.

Creating Fuel Rods
With the power plants and water system in place, it’s time to focus on fuel rod production. Set up three Manufacturers in the bottom-right part of your grid. Configure these to produce Uranium Fuel Rods at 100% clock speed. Connect the outputs to the power plants using either load-balanced or manifolded conveyor lines. Feed in Electromagnetic Control Rods, Encased Industrial Beams, and Encased Uranium Cells as needed.

Making Encased Uranium Cells
You’ll need three Blenders to create Encased Uranium Cells. Position these across from your Manufacturers and set them to 80% clock speed. Provide them with Sulfuric Acid, Uranium Ore, and Concrete. Install valves to regulate the input and manage excess Sulfuric Acid by routing it to the recycling section. This setup ensures smooth operation and prevents any backflow issues.

Recycling Nuclear Waste
Managing nuclear waste is a key part of this build. Set up a Blender in the top-left corner of your grid to handle waste. Use a load balancer to split the waste into a 3:1 ratio, directing some to the Blender for processing. This Blender will convert waste into Non-Fissile Uranium, which, along with Silica, Nitric Acid, and excess Sulfuric Acid, will be used to produce Plutonium Pellets.

Using the Particle Accelerator
Place a Particle Accelerator to turn Non-Fissile Uranium and waste into Plutonium Pellets. Set the Particle Accelerator to a 60% underclock for optimal performance. Connect its output to an Assembler, which should be set to produce Encased Plutonium Cells at 180% overclock. These cells will be used in your final production line.

Producing Plutonium Fuel Rods
Finally, move the Encased Plutonium Cells to a Manufacturer for the creation of Plutonium Fuel Rods. Supply it with Steel Beams, Electromagnetic Control Rods, and Heat Sinks to complete the process. Although Plutonium Fuel Rods can be used for power, it's often more efficient to sink them in an Awesome Sink, which helps you avoid waste and collect valuable points.

You’ve just built a high-efficiency, waste-free nuclear power plant in Satisfactory Release 1.0. With thoughtful planning and precise execution, you’ve created a powerhouse that will keep your factory running at top performance. Enjoy the immense energy boost and the satisfaction of a job well done.
