How to Automate Farming Crops in Soulmask
Setting Up the Basics
First things first, you're going to need a Granary. This unlocks in the Bronze Age, so make sure you have access to Bronze.

Next, pay attention to the seeds you're planting and ensure you have the corresponding fertilizer. Each seed has its own requirements—corn needs bone fertilizer, while pumpkins need ash fertilizer, and so on. Also, keep an eye on the optimal temperature for your crops. You can see the temperature in the top right corner of the map, right next to the compass.
Preparing Your Farm
Seeds require regular compost. To make compost, use the fertilizer bucket.

Plant your crops and make sure you have at least one Tribesman assigned to manage the fields. Go to farm management and select the Granary.

Place your seeds, compost, and watering buckets in the Granary. This setup ensures everything is automated.
Crafting and Managing Resources
To take automation a step further, use the craft table to set up automatic production of compost. Queue up the compost in the fertilizer bucket, and your Tribesman will automatically make it. When your farm is set, select the crop to be planted by holding 'E' and choosing your crop.

Optimizing Your Farming Setup
Make sure you have the correct settings for your farmer, the right temperature, and the correct compost. Check the stats screen for hydration and compost levels. Rain will usually take care of hydration, but you can also water manually using a canister. You'll need a lot of clay to make the farm, which you can find around water areas.
Dealing with Different Climates
If you're setting up in a hot desert area, you'll need cooling technology, which requires reaching the Iron Age and setting up a cooling table. For cold regions, you'll need appropriate heating solutions. In mild temperature areas, you won't need additional cooling or heating.
Automating your farm reduces the need for manual labor. Set up a fertilizer station with nearby chests for easy access. Group workstations that produce relevant resources together, like a grinder and a brewing stand near the fertilizer station. Use circle crafts for continuous production of resources like bone powder and ash fertilizer.
Advanced Automation Techniques
As you progress, unlock the well at level 15 to become independent from rain. Set up outhouses to automate feces collection and a brewing stand at level 24 for acidic fluid, which is used for stone powder fertilizer. Use seed circle crafts in the grinder to ensure a steady supply of seeds.

Final Touches for Full Automation
At awareness strength 25, you unlock the breeding farm and Granary, which automate more aspects of farming. Set up runners to transport resources like feces and meat to appropriate chests. Automate food production with circle crafts for broth and fish soup early on, ensuring your Tribesmen are well-fed.

With these steps, you can automate your farming in Soulmask, freeing up your time for other adventures. Fine-tune your setup as needed, keeping your Tribesmen happy and efficient. Enjoy the benefits of a well-oiled automated farm and watch your crops thrive!
