Finding the Fossil Trilobite Imprint
Your quest begins in the Revelwood biome, where you’ll be on the hunt for the Fossil Trilobite Imprint. To reach the cave where this Fossil is hidden, glide down from the Ancient Spire.
As you approach, keep an eye out for the cave entrance—it’s a bit tucked away and can be easy to miss. You might need to circle around the rock to find it. Once inside, you’ll be facing a bit of a challenge. The cave is filled with poisonous flowers that will wake up and attack as soon as you enter. Additionally, the dirt moor will slow your movement. Despite these obstacles, the red emission from the Fossil will guide you to it. Take out the flowers if needed and grab the Fossil directly.
Exploring the Cave for Extra Treasures
While you’re in the cave, there’s an extra reward waiting for you. Climb to the top of the rock inside the cave to find a tombstone. Digging here will uncover a golden chest—definitely a nice bonus!
Locating Additional Fossils
With the Fossil Trilobite Imprint secured, it's time to find more treasures. Head north to the Trade Outpost “Old Rye.” Be prepared for a tough fight against Shroud monsters that guard this area. Once you’ve dealt with them, you’ll find another Fossil waiting for you.
Another spot to check out is an Earth crack located in the middle of the Forest. Amidst the Shroud, you’ll discover a pile of amber and another Fossil to add to your collection. Keep your eyes peeled and your gear ready for this part of the adventure.
After gathering all your Fossils, it’s time to head back to your base. Visit your local carpenter to craft a Fossil Showcase from the Decorations tab.
