These artifacts are often nestled in hard-to-reach spots, surrounded by Uranium Deposits, Spore Flowers, Cracked Boulders, or Gas Pillars. They’re usually protected by hostile creatures, so be prepared for a bit of a fight. There are over 100 Sommersloops scattered across the map in Patch 1.0, so keep exploring and searching high and low to gather them all.

 

    

 

Using Sommersloop for Research

 

     Once you’ve collected some Sommersloops, head over to the MAM (Molecular Analysis Machine). Sommersloops play a key role in Alien Technology Research. They’re needed to progress through the Alien Technology Research chain, unlocking new technology and crafting recipes.
