Valheim: How to Plant Seeds
In Valheim, cultivating your own food is a crucial skill. Building and tending to your garden might seem simple, but the journey to get there is where the real challenge lies.

Types of Seeds
There are two primary types of seeds you can obtain in Valheim:
Food Seeds include carrot seeds found in the Black Forest and turnip seeds in the Swamp biome. Also, there are additional seeds suitable for other biome such as Flax or Barley.

You can gather three types of tree seeds, including beech seeds in the Meadows, fir cones, and pinecones in the Black Forest.

To get started with planting and growing seeds, you'll need to craft a Cultivator, which requires five Core Wood and five Bronze. Additionally, having a Hoe made from 5 Wood and 2 Stone can be handy for flattening the ground before planting.

Planting Seeds
With the Cultivator in your hand, left click on grassy areas to transform them into fertile soil. Ensure you have ample space to plant multiple seeds, allowing them room to grow.

Open your inventory and choose the seeds you want to plant. They must be in your inventory to proceed.
Select Your Seeds
Right-click while holding the Cultivator to select the seeds, then click on the prepared soil to plant them. Be cautious not to plant seeds too close together, as they need space to thrive.
