The World Tree Loot Tables in Palworld: 7,000 Gold Guaranteed, and Nine Gems at 4.5%

The World Tree in Palworld.

The World Tree runs two separate loot tables — a 29-entry treasure table and a 21-entry overworld drop table — and between them they are the richest containers in Palworld. The treasure table pays 7,000 to 7,500 Gold Coin at 100%, drops an Ancient Sphere at 20.513%, and carries all nine Radiant Gems at 4.513% each.

The Treasure Table

WorldTree_Treasure carries 29 entries. The headline ones:

DropQuantityRate
Gold Coin7,000 – 7,500100%
Ancient Sphere120.513%
Gold Key116.41%
Deluxe Bait2–413.75%
Beam Scatter / Plasma Rifle / Beam Launcher Ammo1–313.402% each
Ancient Sphere1–313.402%
Nutrient Tonic1–213.402%
Training Manual (XL)1–212.371%
Ancient Civilization Core1–312.371%
Alluring Bait2–411.25%
Training Manual (L)2–38.247%

The 7,000–7,500 Gold Coin at 100% is the largest guaranteed payout on any table in this series — nearly double the Sky Island dungeon's 3,500–4,000 and seven times the starting region's 1,000. There is no roll on it.

Ancient Spheres appear twice, at 20.513% for one and 13.402% for one to three. Combined, that is roughly a 34% chance of an Ancient Sphere per chest — the sphere with capture power 64, against the basic Pal Sphere's 7. For anyone still catching high-level Pals, that alone justifies the trip.

Training Manual (XL) at 12.371% is worth flagging against the Mimog route: an XL is 100,000 Pal EXP, and one chest in eight gives you one or two.

Nine Radiant Gems, One Rate

Every one of the nine elemental Radiant Gems appears at exactly 4.513%:

Water, Electric, Ground, Grass, Fire, Ice, Dragon, Dark and Neutral.

Nine identical rates means the table does not favour any element — you cannot farm here for a specific gem more efficiently than for any other. Multiplied out, there is roughly a 40.6% chance of some Radiant Gem per chest, but only a 4.513% chance of the one you actually need.

If you want a particular element's gem, the Pal drop tables that guarantee them at 100% are strictly better. This table is for players who want gems generally, or who are here for the gold anyway.

The Ancient Relic Ladder

Card showing the World Tree treasure table's five-tier Ancient Relic ladder.

The five relic tiers decay in a near-perfect halving:

RelicQuantityRate
Decayed Ancient Relic1–38.205%
Dormant Ancient Relic1–34.103%
Gorgeous Ancient Relic1–32.051%
Glowing Ancient Relic1–31.026%
Glistening Ancient Relic1–30.513%

Each tier is exactly half the one above it, and every tier drops 1–3 rather than scaling the quantity down. That is a friendlier structure than the ÷5 schematic ladders elsewhere in the game — a Glistening relic is 16 times rarer than a Decayed one, not 125 times.

Total relic chance per chest is about 15.9%, and since the quantity band is identical at every tier, a lucky roll at the top is worth the same count as a common one at the bottom.

The Overworld Drop Table

Card comparing the World Tree overworld drop table's Pal Soul and material rates.

WorldTree_Drop_1 is a separate 21-entry table for overworld drops rather than chests, and it is built differently:

DropQuantityRate
Mythical Wood1–518.657%
Paloxite1–518.657%
Small Pal Soul1–318.657%
Medium Pal Soul1–217.413%
Large Pal Soul1–213.682%
Decayed Ancient Relic13.21%
Dormant Ancient Relic11.605%
Sol Sphere1–31.244%
Gorgeous Ancient Relic10.802%
Ancient Sphere1–30.373%

Three entries tie at exactly 18.657% — Mythical Wood, Paloxite and Small Pal Soul — which makes this the best source in the game for the two World Tree building materials.

The Pal Soul ladder here is unusually flat: 18.657%, 17.413% and 13.682% for Small, Medium and Large. Most tables make Large Souls dramatically rarer; here a Large Pal Soul is only about 27% less likely than a Small one, which makes World Tree overworld farming a genuinely efficient soul route.

Note the reversal on spheres: the treasure table gives Ancient Spheres at 20.513% while this drop table gives them at 0.373%. Chests are for spheres; drops are for materials.

Conclusion

The World Tree runs two tables. WorldTree_Treasure (29 entries) pays 7,000–7,500 Gold Coin at 100% — the largest guaranteed payout anywhere, nearly double the Sky Island dungeon — plus Ancient Spheres at 20.513% and again at 13.402% for a combined ~34% per chest, a Gold Key at 16.41%, and Training Manual (XL) at 12.371%. All nine Radiant Gems sit at exactly 4.513%, so the table has no elemental preference: about 40.6% for some gem, 4.513% for the one you want. Its Ancient Relic ladder halves cleanly — 8.205, 4.103, 2.051, 1.026, 0.513 — with every tier dropping 1–3, making a Glistening relic 16 times rarer than a Decayed one rather than the 125× of the schematic ladders. WorldTree_Drop_1 (21 entries) is the material table instead: Mythical Wood, Paloxite and Small Pal Soul all tie at 18.657%, and its Pal Soul ladder is unusually flat at 18.657 / 17.413 / 13.682, making Large Souls only about a quarter less likely than Small ones. The two tables invert on spheres — 20.513% in the chest against 0.373% in the drop — so chests are for spheres and drops are for materials.
