Palworld 1.0 Material Farming: Which Pal Drops What
The Palworld 1.0 endgame runs on materials, not levels. Ancient armor wants Soralite, the Beam Launcher wants Ancient Civilization Cores, and condensing anything wants Pal Souls — and all of it comes down to knowing which Pal to kill. This guide maps the materials you actually run short of to the specific Pals in the 1.0 roster that drop them, so you can build a farming route instead of wandering.
Rare Materials: The Ones You Run Out Of
| Material | Drops from |
|---|---|
| Giant Pal Soul | Panthalus, Aegidron, Silvance, Dandilord |
| Ancient Civilization Core | Silvance, Dandilord |
| Thermal Core | Aegidron |
| Large Pal Soul | Ophydia, Sekhmet, Dualith, Shaolong, Tetroise, Dualith Noct, Tetroise Primo |
| Diamond | Panthalus |
| Emerald | Tetroise Primo |
| Ruby | Tetroise |
| Dark Fragment | Solenne, Celesdir Noct |
| Venom Gland | Dandilord, Venusa, Loomen, Carnibora, Needoll Noct |
Three targets carry almost all of it. Panthalus is the only documented Diamond source in the new roster and also drops Giant Pal Souls. Aegidron is the only one that drops Thermal Cores — a material that appears throughout ancient crafting — alongside Giant Pal Souls and Dragon Radiant Gems. And Silvance and Dandilord are the two sources of Ancient Civilization Core, the component gating the top weapon tier.
If you are stuck on any single ancient recipe, the answer is almost always one of those four.
Common Materials in Bulk

| Material | Best sources among 1.0 Pals |
|---|---|
| Flame Organ | Renjishi, Flaracle, Dupin, Moldron, Eidrolon Ignis, Skutlass Ignis, Petallia Ignis, Knocklem Ignis, Tanzee Ignis |
| Ice Organ | Moldron Cryst, Smokie Cryst, Beakon Cryst, Elgrove Cryst, Pierdon Cryst, Rayhound Cryst, Univolt Cryst |
| Electric Organ | Puffolt, Slowatt, Snock, Dynamoff, Solmora Lux, Prixter Lux, Snock Lux |
| High Quality Pal Oil | Ophydia, Solmora, Eidrolon, Loomen, Solmora Lux, Sibelyx Primo, Snock Lux |
| Pal Fluids | Solmora, Slowatt, Snock, Venusa, Skutlass, Amione, Gloopie Primo |
| Ore | Aegidron, Silvance, Dandilord, Pierdon, Knocklem Ignis |
| Leather | 21 of the new Pals, including Renjishi, Shaolong, Eidrolon and Moldron |
| Horn | Hoodle, Bakemi, Shaolong, Elgrove, Celesdir Noct, Elgrove Cryst, Univolt Cryst |
The Ignis variants are your Flame Organ farm and the Cryst variants are your Ice Organ farm — nine and seven documented sources respectively. Several of them drop the organ at a 100% rate, so these are the most reliable bulk loops in the game. Elgrove Cryst, for example, drops Leather and Ice Organ at 100% every time.
The World Tree Economy

Two materials sit behind almost every ancient recipe, and both are essentially World Tree currency:
- World Tree Holy Water appears in the drop tables of 25 of the new 1.0 Pals.
- Ancient Relics — in Decayed, Dormant, Gorgeous, Glowing and Glistening tiers — appear in 27 of them.
That breadth is good news: almost any World Tree Alpha you farm restocks both. Ophydia is the standout single target, listing five different Ancient Relic types in one drop table alongside High Quality Pal Oil and a Grass Radiant Gem.
Once you have a relic pile, the Ancient Relic Recycler (Technology Level 74) converts it into usable resources, which is what turns relic farming from clutter into a supply line.
The Six Best Farming Targets

Pick fixed Alphas so the route repeats:
- Aegidron — Thermal Cores, Giant Pal Souls, World Tree Holy Water, Dragon Radiant Gems, Ancient Relics. The single most valuable drop table in the update. Counter it with Ice.
- Silvance — Giant Pal Soul, Ancient Civilization Core, World Tree Holy Water, Grass Radiant Gem, Ancient Relics. Counter with Fire.
- Dandilord — Giant Pal Soul, Ancient Civilization Core, Venom Gland (4–5). The other Core source. Counter with Fire or Dragon.
- Panthalus — Diamond and Giant Pal Soul. Also the toughest Pal in 1.0, so bring Electric and patience.
- Ophydia — High Quality Pal Oil, Large Pal Soul, Grass Radiant Gem and five Relic types. Counter with Fire or Electric.
- Tetroise Primo — Emerald, Large Pal Soul, World Tree Holy Water, Neutral Radiant Gem, Ancient Relics. Counter with Dark.
Run Aegidron and Silvance back to back and you cover Thermal Cores, Ancient Civilization Cores, Giant Pal Souls, two Radiant Gem elements and a relic haul in a single circuit.
Matching Farms to What You Are Building
- Ancient armor (Tech 75–79) → Soralite Ingot chain, so prioritise Ore sources: Aegidron, Silvance, Knocklem Ignis, Pierdon.
- Beam Launcher and Plasma Rifle (Tech 78–80) → Ancient Civilization Core, so farm Silvance and Dandilord.
- Condensing Pals → Pal Souls, so farm Panthalus, Aegidron, Silvance, Dandilord for Giant, and Ophydia, Shaolong, Dualith or the Tetroise line for Large.
- Awakening → Radiant Gems, which nearly every World Tree Alpha carries in its element.
- Cooking and healing supplies → High Quality Pal Oil and Venom Gland, from Ophydia, Loomen and the Dandilord line.
Practical tips
- Element advantage roughly doubles your damage, which roughly doubles your materials per hour. Always bring the counter element to a farm loop — it is the cheapest optimisation available.
- Farm Alphas, not wild spawns. Field bosses respawn on a schedule you can build a route around; random spawns cannot be planned.
- Some drops are 100% and some are 50%. The 100% drops (Leather, Ice Organ from Cryst variants) are what you build a bulk supply on; treat gems and cores as a bonus per run.
- Carry Lightweight Ancient Armor on farming trips. Its Carrying Capacity Lv. 4 is the difference between finishing the route and going home early with full pockets.
- Tetroise Primo in your party raises gear durability by 80–100%, so a long circuit does not end in a repair trip.
Running your own Palworld 1.0 server
Material farming rewards a world that never resets. On a dedicated Palworld 1.0 server your Alpha routes stay live around the clock, your furnaces and assembly lines keep refining the haul while you are offline, and several players can farm different materials in parallel across any platform thanks to full crossplay. One-click backups and automatic updates mean the stockpile you spent a weekend building survives every patch.
Conclusion
Palworld 1.0's material economy has a handful of choke points, and they map to a handful of Pals. Aegidron is the only new source of Thermal Cores and the best all-round drop table in the update; Silvance and Dandilord are your only two routes to Ancient Civilization Cores; Panthalus covers Diamonds and Giant Pal Souls. For bulk, farm the Ignis variants for Flame Organs and the Cryst variants for Ice Organs, both at high drop rates. Build a two-stop circuit around Aegidron and Silvance and most of the ancient tier stops being a bottleneck.
