How to Use Fermenter in Valheim
Mastering the art of mead-making is a key aspect of survival in the challenging world of Valheim. The Fermenter is the tool you need to craft various types of meads, including the coveted Tasty Mead.

Crafting Fermenter
To craft a Fermenter, gather the following materials:
- 30x Fine Wood
- 5x Bronze
- 10x Resin

Fine Wood can be acquired by chopping down Birch or Oak trees using a Bronze Axe. If you're unsure about the Bronze crafting process, refer to our guide on making Bronze in Valheim.

Fermentation Time
Now that you have a functional Fermenter, it's time to start fermenting mead bases. These bases are prepared in a Tin Cauldron and serve as the foundation for various types of mead. Each mead type provides unique effects, from healing to stamina regeneration and elemental resistance.

Fire Resistance Barley Wine: Fire resistance (600s) - Plains/Mistlands.
Frost Resistance Mead: Frost resistance (600s) - Mountain/Mistlands/Deep North.
Minor Healing Mead: 50 HP (10s) - Black Forest.
Medium Healing Mead: 75 HP (10s) - Swamp/Mountain/Plains.
Major Healing Mead: 125 HP (10s) - Mistlands.

Minor Stamina Mead: 80 stamina (2s) - Black Forest/Swamp/Mountain.
Medium Stamina Mead: 160 stamina (2s) - Plains.
Lingering Stamina Mead: +25% stamina (300s) - Mistlands.
Minor Eitr Mead: Eitr prevention (10s) - Mistlands.
