How to Transport and Sell Wood in Farming Simulator 25
In Farming Simulator 25, cutting down trees is just the beginning. To cash in on your forestry efforts, you’ll need to know how to efficiently transport and sell wood.

Choosing How to Sell
Decide whether to sell your timber as logs or turn it into wood chips. For deciduous trees, wood chips are often more profitable, especially when branches make cutting uniform logs difficult. Conifer trees, on the other hand, are easier to turn into long, straight logs, which sell well at the sawmill or carpentry.
Transporting Wood Chips
- Tractor: John Deere 7810
- Trailer: Rudolph TDK 301 RP
- Wood Chipper: HM 10-500 KF
Tip: Make sure your trailer height matches your wood chipper to allow for easy overloading.
Step 1: Load the Trailer
Position your trailer beside the wood chipper’s discharge area. When the chipper’s tank is full, switch to the chipper, press the unload button, and watch as wood chips fill the trailer.

Step 2: Drive to a Selling Point
Once full, consult the price tab to find the best rate at either the Farmer’s Market or the Biogas Plant. Head to the selected point and unload the chips in the designated area for an easy payout.

Transporting Logs by Trailer

Tip: Match the log length to your loader’s recommended size. Logs that are too long can be difficult to secure, while too-short logs reduce the load's stability.
Step 1: Loading Logs
Position the loader parallel to your logs, then use the crane to grab each trunk and load it onto the trailer. For security, ensure each log is straight and snug against the cab. Once loaded, use tension belts to lock everything in place.

Step 2: Deliver to the Selling Point
With your load secured, check the prices at various selling points like Sawmill, Carpentry, or Biogas Plant. Head to the best spot, unload the trailer, and collect your earnings.

Whether you’re selling wood chips for a quick return or transporting full containers of timber, Farming Simulator 25 offers flexible and profitable forestry options. Pick the method that fits your setup, take the necessary equipment, and make the most of every log or wood chip load you haul.
