How to Tame Turkeys in Soulmask
Turkeys are more than just cute additions to your settlement. They provide feathers for crafting, eggs for cooking, feces for fertilizer and meat from slaughtering surplus birds.

Crafting a Small Trap
To begin, you'll need a small trap. Find the blueprint in the Knowledge and Technology tree under the Animal Breeding skill.

Use materials like branches, clay, and thick ropes to craft it.
Setting the Trap
Find a spot where turkeys roam. Use the Habit Analysis skill to find areas with turkeys, especially where you see baby turkeys with their mothers.

Be cautious not to scare away the adult turkeys as you approach.
Placing the Trap
Place the trap close to a mother turkey and her chick.

If necessary, kill the adult turkeys to prevent them from breaking your trap. Find a good hiding spot and wait for the baby turkey to approach the trap.

Capturing the Baby Turkey
It may take some time for the baby turkey to approach the trap. Once the baby turkey is caught, pick it up and take it to your base. To house your turkeys, you need a turkey coop. This is available at Awareness level 10. Gather the required materials and construct it in your settlement.

Put the captured baby turkey in the coop. Make sure to have both a male and a female turkey so they can breed.
Taming turkeys in Soulmask is a straightforward process that adds valuable resources to your settlement. With the right traps, bait, and patience, you’ll have a thriving turkey pen in no time.
