How to Tame Parrots in Soulmask
Ever dreamed of having a colorful parrot as your in-game buddy? Well, you're in luck! Taming parrots in Soulmask is a fun and rewarding task. Follow these simple steps to capture and care for your feathered friend.
Craft a Small Trap
First things first, you need a small trap. Here’s how to get one:
Go to the Knowledge and Technology tree and unlock the blueprint for the small trap under the Animal Breeding skill.

Once unlocked, craft the small trap using the required materials.
Get the Right Bait
Parrots love bugs and nuts, so you need to gather some:
Use a bug net to catch fireflies, poisonous bugs, or grasshoppers. Any of these will work as bait. Put the bait inside your small trap.

Habit Analysis skill will help you to locate parrots near your base. Keep an eye out for turkeys and other small creatures that might steal your bait.
Place the Trap
Find a spot in the forest where parrots are commonly found.

Place the trap on the ground and load it with baits.

Wait for the Parrot
Parrots might not come immediately. Give it some time and come back later to check the trap. Sometimes, other animals like turkeys might get caught instead. Remove them and reset the trap if needed.

Secure Your Parrot
Once a parrot is trapped, pick it up and carry it back to your base. Craft a parrot rack from the Animal Breeding section and place your parrot on it.

Place food and water on the parrot rack to keep your new pet happy and healthy. Check regularly to ensure your parrot has everything it needs.
Benefits
Parrots can alert you to nearby animals or dangers. Also, having a parrot adds a touch of color and fun to your settlement.

Taming parrots in Soulmask is an exciting and rewarding process. With the right traps, bait, and a bit of patience, you’ll have a new feathered friend in no time. So get out there, set your traps, and welcome a parrot to your in-game family!
