Crafting the Trap

 

To capture a capybara, you need a medium trap. Here’s how to get started:

Press ‘T’ and research Traps in the "Animal Breeding" to unlock the trap blueprints.

 

 

Collect branches, clay, and thick ropes and use them to craft a medium trap.

 

Locating Capybaras

 

Capybaras love vegetables! Gather pumpkins or nuts, make sure you have plenty of bait ready.

 

 

Capybaras are commonly found around water sources in forests. Look for water sources where capybaras hang out. Capybaras usually move in groups, so finding one means more are nearby.

 

 

Place the trap close to where you spotted a baby capybara. Then, put a pumpkin or nut inside the trap to lure the capybara.

 

Capturing the Capybara

 

Adult capybaras can ruin your chances by eating the bait, so take them out first. Crouch and stay out of sight to avoid scaring the baby capybara. So wait for the baby capybara to approach the trap.

 

 

Once the capybara is trapped, approach it and press 'E' to capture it. Take the captured capybara back to your base.
