How to Summon Ghorm the Devourer in Core Keeper 1.0
Summoning Idol
First off, you need the Ghorm Summoning Idol to reawaken Ghorm the Devourer. To get your hands on this crucial item, you must head to the Backpack Merchant after you’ve defeated Ghorm for the first time. Here's how it works: once you’ve taken down Ghorm, you’ll receive a mysterious idol. Find a small room, leave it for about 50 blocks' worth of space, and check back later.

The Backpack Merchant will appear, and in his inventory, you’ll find the summoning idols for the bosses, including Ghorm. Each idol costs 500 Ancient Coins, so make sure you’ve got plenty of those saved up. Don’t worry if Ancient Coins seem elusive at first; there are plenty of ways to farm them efficiently.

Summoning Rune
Finding Ghorm’s summoning rune can be a bit of a treasure hunt. Ghorm patrols in a large, circular path around the outer edge of the Dirt Biome, so your first step is to venture outside this main path.

The key is to follow the outer edge of the circle, rather than heading towards the core or your base. Keep an eye on the map for a path that breaks away from the circular route. Once you’re in the vicinity, you’ll need to scout around until you spot Ghorm’s summoning rune.

Prepare for the Summon
Before you place the Ghorm Summoning Idol, make sure you’re prepared for the chaos that will follow. Ghorm’s summoning area is often filled with mobs, so have your weapons and gear ready. Equip yourself with a good sword or ranged weapon, and consider bringing along some healing potions and buffs. The summoning area can be dangerous, so having a plan and being prepared for a fight is crucial.

Summon Ghorm the Devourer
Now that you’ve found the summoning rune and are geared up, it’s time to summon Ghorm. Simply place the Ghorm Summoning Idol on the rune, and watch as this giant, slimy behemoth emerges. Ghorm’s sheer size and strength can be overwhelming, so be ready to act quickly and strategically. Position yourself well, and use your traps, bombs, or weapons to keep Ghorm at bay.

Battle Strategy
Ghorm moves fast and can be a real threat if you’re not careful. The fight typically has two phases. During the first phase, Ghorm will circle around, and you’ll need to avoid its path while dealing damage from a safe distance. Once Ghorm’s health drops to about 50%, it will enter the second phase, where it starts to charge directly at you. This is when things get intense, and you’ll need to rely on speed, agility, and powerful attacks to take it down.

Summoning and battling Ghorm the Devourer in Core Keeper 1.0 is no small feat, but with the right preparation and strategy, you can conquer this beast. Remember to gather your resources, locate the summoning rune, and equip yourself with the best gear. The battle will test your skills, but with persistence and strategy, you’ll come out victorious. Good luck, Keepers, and may your adventures in Core Keeper be filled with epic wins and epic loot!
