     As soon as you respawn, it's go-time! Your first mission is to gather some essential resources. Head out and start collecting Fiber, Wood, and Stone. Just approach to them and press Left Mouse Button to start collecting ressources.

 

    

     These will be your building blocks. Use the Fiber to craft a basic Rob, and don’t forget to whip up some arrows for self-defense. You’ll also want to munch on berries and mushrooms to keep your health up. Remember, a hungry duck is a vulnerable duck!

 

 

Step 2: Craft Your Gear

 

     With your initial materials in hand, it’s time to gear up. A full hat made from Fiber will protect your noggin while you embark on your looting expeditions. Craft a Hammer, Bow and Arrows.

Aim for at least 11 Metal Wires for your first upgrade.

 

    

     Once you’ve hoarded enough resources, choose a base location near a couple of Monuments for easy access to loot. Fast construction is key—everyone else is hunting for the same thing, so don’t dawdle!

 

     You have a Hammer. So take it in your hands and hold RMB to open Building Menu. First, lay down the foundation, then add walls, a door frame, and finally, upgrade your door to metal to keep those pesky raiders at bay.

 

    

 

Step 5: Upgrade Your Base

 

     To turn your rickety twig shelter into a formidable fortress, gather some Cheater Metal by smashing barrels and recycling unwanted gear.

 

    

     You'll need two Metal Alloys and 25 Metal Fragments for your next big upgrade. These upgrades will make your base harder to crack open, giving you a solid defense against anyone looking to raid you for quick loot.

 

    

 

Secure your base in Duckside

 

     Make sure to stash your resources safely inside your base to avoid losing everything if you get raided. And don’t forget to place a Nest inside, so you have a spawn point close by in case things go south!
