How to start building in Rust

Before you will be able to place the first foundation for your first construction, you will need to have a Building Plan. Crafting begins with the simple act of pressing the ‘Q’ key, unveiling the Craft Panel before you. Among the myriad of options, you will find the coveted Building Plan. Gather 50 units of Wood and bring this indispensable tool to life. After 30 seconds, you will acquire the Building Plan. For your convenience, you can drag and drop it from your inventory into the hotbar panel and then select it.
Foundations, the bedrock of your construction, require careful consideration. As you survey potential locations, you may notice a preliminary indication of where the foundation can be placed.
Keep an eye out for the colors associated with these indications: a blue color suggests a suitable placement, while red indicates an unsuitable location.
The viability of a foundation's placement depends on factors such as nearby structures and restricted building zones. It is important to adhere to building restrictions in designated areas.
Once you have identified a secure location, it's time to choose the form of your construction. Will you opt for a square foundation or a triangular one? With a determined aim, click the left mouse button, and witness the transformation as the foundation takes shape, solidifying your plans.
