How to Repair in Core Keeper 1.0
Salvage and Repair Station
First things first: you need a Salvage and Repair Station. To craft it, you’ll need Basic Workbench, five Wood and five Copper Ingots. Grab Wood from the large roots around the starting area – these are usually easy to spot. For Copper Ingots, you’ll need to mine Copper Ore.

Smelting Copper
You’ll need a Furnace to turn Copper Ore into Copper Ingots. To make a Furnace, gather 20 Dirt Walls from breaking dirt blocks while mining. With 20 Dirt Walls in hand, head over to your Workbench and craft a Furnace. Place the Furnace, then load it up with Copper Ore to smelt it into Ingots.

Crafting the Station
With your Copper Ingots and Wood ready, open your Workbench, find the Salvage and Repair Station under the Crafting tab, and craft it. Place it somewhere convenient, and you’re ready to start repairing and salvaging!

Repair Function
To repair an item, place it inside the Salvage and Repair Station. Click the blue repair button, and then select the item you want to fix. The station will use Scrap Parts and materials like Metal Bars or Wood to get your gear back to full durability. Keep in mind that repairing heavily damaged items will require more materials compared to a minor fix.

Salvage Process
Place the unwanted item into the Salvage and Repair Station. Click the large “salvage” button, and voilà – you’ll get Scrap Parts along with some of the original materials like Metal Bars or Wood. This is a great way to free up inventory space and get materials for future repairs.

Reinforcing Your Gear
Want to make your items even better? Reinforce them! This process doubles the durability of your tools, weapons, or armor and boosts their effectiveness by 15%.

And there you have it – a full guide to repairing, salvaging, and reinforcing your gear in Core Keeper 1.0! With your Salvage and Repair Station set up and ready, you’re all set to maintain your gear and tackle whatever the game throws at you.
