Understand the Leyak’s Behavior

 

     The Leyak begins appearing after you access the Cascade Laboratories. It is a floating, skull-like entity that targets one player at a time and can phase into any location within its range. Once it has chosen a target, it remains invisible to others, making it a personal challenge to deal with.

 

 

     It doesn’t attack immediately but will become aggressive if you let it get too close or avoid its gaze. Maintaining direct eye contact for 10–30 seconds can temporarily repel it, causing it to disappear for a short time. However, this doesn’t permanently solve the problem, as the Leyak will reappear every few hours.

 

 

 

Build and Use X-Ray Weapons

 

     Leyaks are immune to conventional weapons, so defeating them requires X-Ray technology. There are two primary tools to deal with them:

 

     - X-Ray Tower: This is a stationary turret that damages the Leyak within its range. To build one, you’ll need:

 

     - 1 Prismatic Shard

 

     - 1 Anteverse Gem

 

     - 1 Optic Lens

 

     - 2 Staplers

 

     - 2 Refined Carbon

 

     - 1 Lab Burner

     - 1 X-Ray Tower

 

     - 2 Jailbroken CPUs

 

     - 1 Leyak Essence

 

     Activate the X-Ray Lamp and aim it directly at the Leyak to freeze it and deal damage. The device provides both protection and utility, especially in remote areas.

 

 

 

Contain the Leyak

 

     If you want to stop the Leyak from attacking permanently, you can trap it using the Containment Unit: 91. This structure allows you to capture the Leyak and neutralize its threat.

 

     Materials for Containment Unit: 91:

 

     - 3 X-Ray Towers

 

     - 1 Hyper-Dense Neural Chip

 

     - 10 Quantum Glass

 

     - 1 Tram Station Key

 

     To use the containment unit, lure the Leyak near it and immobilize it with an X-Ray Lamp. The Leyak will be trapped inside the unit but must be maintained with Greyebs to fuel the containment field. The unit will also produce Leyak Essence over time, providing a steady supply for crafting.

 

 

Protect Your Base

 

     While managing the Leyak, ensure your base is secure:

 

     - Deploy multiple X-Ray Towers in key locations to cover high-traffic areas.

 

     - Use crafting benches and deployable objects to limit spawn zones.

 

     - Keep valuable resources and crafting tools away from areas where the Leyak is likely to appear.

 

     - Always carry an X-Ray Lamp when moving between locations to stay prepared.
