How to Increase Frost Resistance in Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier Update
In Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier, you’ll face some harsh, icy zones where frostbite is just waiting to sink its claws into you. But don’t sweat it—or rather, don’t freeze! Here’s everything you need to know to increase your frost resistance and survive these extreme conditions.

Frost-Resistant Armor
Your main defense against the cold is frost-resistant armor. In this update, some armor sets come specifically tailored for battling the cold. Though they can be a bit challenging to craft, these armor pieces are well worth it if you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the freezing zones.

There are three sets available to be crafted at the Hunter: the Frostbite Slasher Set, the Alpine Antler Set, the Trailblazer Set. Also, by crafting at the Blacksmith - Mountains’s Shadow Set, and Brazen Bull Set. And Alchemist can provide you Hailcaster and Pearlfrost Mentor Sets. Mostly , each Set increases Frost Resistance by up to +11.
Once you’re geared up, you’ll notice a serious reduction in frost damage, making it easier to survive for extended periods.

Frost Ring and Torch
If you’re looking for a quicker boost, frost rings are perfect. These handy items drop from enemies or loot chests in colder regions, and they pack a punch against the frost, giving you an immediate bump in frost resistance. And don’t overlook a simple torch! Just holding a torch while you’re out in the cold offers a small but helpful resistance boost, allowing you to withstand the icy temperatures a bit longer.

Boost with Food
Food is your friend in these frozen lands. Grilled fatty meat is the easiest way to increase your frost resistance through food. You can get fatty meat by hunting animals in icy biomes, then cook it over a fire to get a small frost resistance boost. For a heartier resistance, go for Gulas or Pumpkin Soup. To make Pumpkin Soup, gather ingredients like Frizzy Goat Milk (from wild goats), Gentian, and Pumpkin. These meals pack a powerful frost resistance, keeping you warm longer as you explore.

Pocket Heater
One more way to beat the cold is by crafting the Pocket Heater. This item gives you an extra boost of +2 frost resistance for about 30 minutes. This handy item is crafted by Hunter. Resource you need are Metal Sheets, Reptile Leather and Coal. Combine the Pocket Heater with food and armor buffs, and you’re set for even the most brutal frosty zones.

Finding the Best Items
Wondering where to pick up all these frost-beating tools? Frost rings can be found in chests or as drops from enemies in the cold regions. Grilled fatty meat is as simple as hunting animals in the frozen biomes. For Pumpkin Soup and Gulas, look for specific ingredients in these icy areas or trade with NPCs. The Pocket Heater is crafted right at your workbench, so keep a few on hand before setting out into unknown territory.
Cold weather survival in Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier is all about layering up with frost-resistant armor, gearing up with frost rings, and fueling up with hearty meals. Stock up on these frost-beating tools before diving into the frigid wilderness, and you’ll be free to explore the frozen world without the threat of frostbite slowing you down. Now get out there, stay warm, and enjoy the frosty adventure!
