For the safest descent, aim for the northern side, avoiding the southern route where a treacherous lava river awaits. Falling into this lava trap could spell disaster for your quest, so steer clear and plan your descent carefully.

 

    

 

Trade Outpost “Old Rye”

 

     Once you’re airborne and heading towards the Shroud, your target is the Trade Outpost known as “Old Rye.” This area is notorious for its perilous environment—enemies abound, from the skies above to the ground below, making every step a challenge. As you approach, stay alert for attacks from every direction.

 

    

     To reach your destination, glide towards the northern side of the Trade Outpost. Here, you’ll find a small cave. The cave’s entrance is marked by flames, making it easier to spot amidst the chaos. Inside, you’ll discover the Single Gastropod Fossil lying conveniently on a table. While you might encounter Critters and other foes, they are manageable if you stay sharp and focused.
