     Climb the towering Ancient Spire and prepare for an exhilarating glide down the western side. As you soar, keep an eye out for the Giant Fossilized Bones poking out from the rocks and structures below—these are your visual clues that you’re on the right path.

 

    

 

Navigating the Danger Zone

 

     Beware—the western path is home to saber-toothed predators just waiting to pounce. These fearsome creatures can be a real nuisance, so stay alert and avoid unnecessary confrontations.

 

    

     Once you reach the Mining Rift, look for a tricky descent located opposite the main entrance. This slippery slope will be your shortcut to finding the fossil while minimizing your time spent battling scorpions that infest the area. If you don’t have poison protection, it’s best to steer clear of these creatures.

 

    

 

Climbing and Mining

 

     Near the slope, you’ll find a metal grid leading up to a broken wooden platform. Use the hook at the edge of this platform to climb higher.

 

    

     On the upper platform, you'll encounter ore deposits and explosive barrels. You have two options here: carefully dig through the ore or use ranged weapons to trigger the barrels. The explosion will reveal the fossil hidden within the iron vein. Just be cautious with your approach!

 

    

 

Displaying Your Find
