Where to find Solarite

 

     Solarite can be found embedded within Crystal Blocks in the Shimmering Frontier biome. This biome appears in multiple regions, including Azeos' Wilderness, the Sunken Sea, and the Desert of Beginnings. You can recognize it by its distinct blue crystalline terrain, which stands out from the surrounding environment. As you explore, look for glowing clusters within the walls - these indicate the presence of Solarite Ore.

 

 

 

Mining Solarite

 

     To mine Solarite, you'll need a strong pickaxe. An Octarine Pickaxe is the minimum requirement, though a Scarlet Pickaxe may also work. Once you've identified a vein of Solarite, start mining the surrounding Crystal Blocks to extract the ore. Be patient, as drilling through these tough materials takes time. If you're lucky, you might also find Solarite Ore Boulders, which yield large amounts of ore when broken.

 

 

 

Alternative ways to obtain Solarite

 

     If mining isn’t your thing, there are other ways to get Solarite. Some enemies, such as Crystal Snails, drop Solarite when defeated. Interestingly, their shells regenerate over time, meaning you can farm them repeatedly. Fishing in shimmering water also has a small chance of yielding Solarite Ore. Solarite can sometimes be found in hidden chests, which are usually locked and require special keys to open. These chests are often located in alien structures or deep within the biome.

 

 

 

Using Solarite for crafting

 

     Once you’ve collected enough Solarite Ore, it’s time to smelt it into bars. You'll need a Fury Forge, which can be crafted at the Octarine Workbench using Octarine and Scarlet Bars. Place your Solarite Ore into the Fury Forge, and after a short time, you’ll receive refined Solarite Bars. These bars craft high-end gear, including the Solarite Pickaxe, Solarite Crossbow, and advanced armor sets. Investing in Solarite gear significantly enhances your combat effectiveness and mining speed.
