How to Get Salt in Enshrouded

    In Enshrouded, Salt is a valuable resource essential for crafting various items, including armor and meals.

 

 

Hunter

 

    To begin your Salt-gathering journey, locate and awaken the Hunter as part of the “Hunter Becomes The Hunted” quest. She resides in the Ancient Vault, northeast of the Cinder Vault and east of the Ancient Spire.

 

 

Finding Salt

 

    Upon awakening the Hunter, embark on the “Salt Mine Location” quest, guiding you to the Egerton Salt Mines. Strengthen your abilities and gear before venturing into the dangerous Shroud, where the mines are located.

 

 

    Navigate to the Egerton Salt Mines marked on your map and brave the Shroud's challenges to reach the large cube-shaped Salt deposits on the walls. Mine the Salt efficiently, keeping an eye on the Shroud timer.

 

 

Utilizing Salt

 

    Craft a drying rack and convert Animal Fur into Dried Fur using Salt. Dried Fur is crucial for crafting armor sets and other useful items, enhancing various aspects of your gameplay.

 

 

    Gather Salt from the Egerton Salt Mines, convert it into Dried Fur, and utilize it wisely to strengthen your character in Enshrouded. Remember to prepare adequately for the dangers of the Shroud and make the most of this resource.
