Before embarking on this quest, ensure you are well-equipped with a light source, food, and weapons, as you may encounter enemies along the way. Additionally, obtaining the Rebreather from a beach cave in the northeast of the map is crucial, as it allows for underwater exploration.

 

 

Once inside the cave, follow the path until you reach a subway waterfall. Proceed in the direction of the water, eventually encountering another waterfall with a significant drop. Dive down to the deepest part and continue swimming and diving along the path, which may be lengthy.

 

Finding the Pickaxe

 

After navigating through the underwater passages, you'll eventually come across an exit leading to the surface. Head towards the square-shaped rocks and locate a rectangular stone door on the opposite side. Proceed through the door and follow the path until you reach another waterfall leading to an area with more water.

 

 

Diving to the bottom, follow the path until you encounter two separate ways. Take the right path until you can resurface. Climb up the rocks and navigate to the other side, where you'll find another water tunnel to dive through. After reaching a point where you can surface for air, head left until you see small orange stairs next to Solafite Ore.

 

 

Here, you'll discover the mining pickaxe.

 

 

Utilizing the Pickaxe

 

Once you've obtained the pickaxe, equip it from your inventory. To mine Solafite Ore, simply approach a deposit of the ore and swing the pickaxe at it. The ore will break away into chunks, which you can collect for use in crafting and upgrading tools.
