How to Get Fish Fossil in Enshrouded: Back to the Shroud Update

     With the latest update to Enshrouded, titled Back to the Shroud, the world is brimming with new collectibles, including the sought-after Fish Fossil.

 

    

 

Preparing for the Quest

 

     To start your adventure, you need to make your way to the Sun Temple, located at the southern end of the world. If you’ve explored the Kindlewastes Biome and have access to the Ancient Spire, you’re already on the right track. From the spire, you’ll spot the Sun Temple in the distance—a beacon for your quest.

 

    

     Before you head out, ensure you’re fully equipped. Stock up on stamina-restoring items and buffs, and don’t forget your grappling hooks, lockpicks, and a bow with arrows. The bow is optional but can help simplify your journey.

 

 

Navigating to the Sun Temple

 

     Your approach to the Sun Temple involves a bit of aerial acrobatics. Begin by gliding from the Ancient Spire to a prominent sand column. This column will serve as your platform. From there, glide further down to the Sun Temple. Be cautious of the Scatterborne and their Scavengers who guard the area. To avoid a direct confrontation, sneak around their village by taking the right-hand path and ascending through the nearby hills.

 

    

 

Entering and Exploring the Temple

 

     Once you reach the Sun Temple, you’ll encounter one or two tough Scavengers. To get inside, you have two main options:

 

     1. Puzzle Solution: If you have a bow, solve a puzzle by shooting three buttons set in columns around the building.

     2. Direct Approach: Alternatively, smash through a window with your mace or sword to gain entry.

 

    

     Inside the Temple, look for a dirt pile on the left side of the stairs. This pile conceals a secret chamber.

 

    

     Grab your pickaxe and dig through the dirt. Be ready for an immediate battle with the Undead lurking inside. If you’re lucky, you might be able to grab the Fish Fossil from the table and make a quick escape.

 

    

     As a bonus, after securing the Fish Fossil, you can explore the Sun Temple further. Climb to the top of the Temple and face off against Undead, Guardians, and Drakes. Once you’ve overcome these challenges, you’ll find a golden chest containing the Ghost Glider.

 

    

 

Showcasing Your Find

 

     Now it’s time to flaunt your rare collectible. Head to your local carpenter and craft a Fossil Showcase under the Decorations tab. Place this new display stand in your home base and proudly exhibit your Fish Fossil. As you admire your new prize, think about the other exciting collectibles awaiting you in Enshrouded!
