How to Get Cobblestone in 7 Days to Die 1.0
Where to Find Cobblestone Rocks
Finding Cobblestone Rocks can seem like a scavenger hunt, but it's pretty straightforward once you know the tricks. First up, look for blue-wrapped pallets. These bad boys are often spotted around construction sites, unfinished buildings, and even in some garages. When you spot one, grab your Shovel and get to work.

If you're feeling lucky, you can also find Cobblestone Rocks in blue-tarped pallets or boxes in various Points of Interest (POIs). Though, be aware that scavenging has been nerfed in 7 Days to Die 1.0, so you might not always get a jackpot of Cobblestone Rocks from these sources. On average, you’ll get around 6 Cobblestone Rocks per pallet, but sometimes you might strike out after an hour of digging.

Crafting Cobblestone Rocks
If you’re not having much luck with scavenging, don’t fret. You can craft Cobblestone Rocks using Clay Soil and Small Stones. Both materials are pretty easy to come by. Small Stones are everywhere—just pick them up from the ground or break down large rocks with your Stone Axe or Iron Pick. Clay Soil, on the other hand, is best obtained by digging with your Shovel. While it’s a bit rarer, it’s still not too hard to find if you keep your eyes peeled.

Once you have a stash of Clay Soil and Small Stones, open you Craft menu by pressing Tab. You’ll need 1 Small Stone and 1 Clay Soil to craft 1 Cobblestone Rock. Repeat this process until you’ve got enough for your needs.
Using Cobblestone Rocks
With Cobblestone Rocks in your inventory, you’ve got a couple of key uses. Crafting Cobblestone Blocks is your main goal here. Each Cobblestone Block requires 10 Cobblestone Rocks, and it’s a solid upgrade from Wood Blocks. To craft Cobblestone Blocks, press Tab and choose Cobblestone Block in your inventory.

Another crucial use for Cobblestone Rocks is to upgrade your existing Wood Blocks. Simply equip your Cobblestone Rocks and a Claw Hammer or Stone Axe, approach a Wood Block, and start the upgrade process. Each Wood Block upgrade requires 10 Cobblestone Rocks and will turn your flimsy wooden defenses into sturdy Cobblestone Blocks.
In 7 Days to Die 1.0, getting Cobblestone Rocks might seem like a daunting task, but with the right strategies, it’s totally manageable. Whether you’re digging up blue-tarped pallets or crafting from Clay Soil and Small Stones, these rocks are essential for boosting your base’s defenses. Upgrade those Wood Blocks, craft Cobblestone Blocks, and make your base a fortress that can withstand the undead onslaught. Keep scavenging, keep crafting, and keep surviving!
