How to Get Berserkir Mead in Valheim Bog Witch Update
In the Bog Witch Update, the swamps are more treacherous than ever, but you can use the Berserker Mead to tap into your inner warrior spirit. This potent brew unleashes your full combat potential, making it ideal for tackling tough enemies. Here's how to gather ingredients, prepare the mead base, and ferment this powerful beverage.

Gather Ingredients for Berserker Mead
To craft Berserker Mead, you'll need to gather the following ingredients, each found in specific biomes:
- Mushroom x10: Common mushrooms are scattered across the ground in the Meadows, Black Forest, and Swamp biomes. They respawn after 240 minutes, making them a sustainable resource.

- Yellow Mushroom x10: Found primarily in Burial Chambers or Troll Caves within the Black Forest, as well as in Sunken Crypts in the Swamp. These respawn after 4 hours in the same locations.

- Toadstool x1: Acquired through trading with the Bog Witch. Purchase this toxic mushroom for 85 coins in Swamp areas. Although it has no edible properties, it’s essential for the mead recipe.

Craft the Mead Base: Berserkir
Once you have gathered the ingredients, head to your Mead Ketill (cauldron) to begin crafting the mead base:
1. Open the crafting menu in your cauldron.
2. Select the Mead Base: Berserkir recipe.
3. Add 10 Mushrooms, 10 Yellow Mushrooms, and 1 Toadstool.
4. Craft the Mead Base: Berserkir.

Ferment the Mead Base
After preparing the Mead Base: Berserkir, it must be fermented to produce the Berserker Mead:
1. Place the Mead Base: Berserkir in your fermenter.
2. Allow it to ferment for 2 in-game days.
3. Once fermented, the mead will yield several bottles of Berserker Mead.
Using Berserker Mead in Combat
Each bottle of Berserker Mead grants a temporary but substantial increase in attack power, making it ideal for taking on high-level enemies in the Swamp and other hazardous biomes.

Tips for Berserker Mead
- Use the mead during boss fights or when surrounded by large groups of enemies to maximize its effect.
- Keep extra bottles in storage at your base for future battles, as the mead is highly useful for intense combat situations.
